Samatict, you are invited to the Teahouse
editHi Samatict! Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. |
New York's congressional districts
editThanks for pointing out the omissions. I forgot about them. So I did remove all the old district PDF files, but I am going to leave the templates open should new maps become available. I know it looks a bit awkward, but will save time when the new maps become available. It will hopefully prompt someone to find some as well. I am now done with the article, feel free to add/change as you see appropriate....Thanks again!...Pvmoutside (talk) 11:47, 28 July 2013 (UTC)
reply concerning Block-Evading IP Vandal
editMy advice would be to get the articles page-protected from IP editing as soon as possible, if not immediately, and then report the IP for vandalism and block evasion.--Mr Fink (talk) 15:38, 6 May 2014 (UTC)
Mareel
edit"Mareel" is not a non-English word. It's used in English, but it's primarily used by Shetlanders that speak English. Nevertheless, it still has use in the English language, it's not just a Scots term. Tharthandorf Aquanashi (talk) 16:11, 18 July 2014 (UTC)
- Thank you for clarifying. Still, I do not think it's appropriate to add variations on a phenomenon's name in every article that references it. The article in question is about microscopic organisms, not the actual mass effect they can create. I don't believe it would be productive to start adding localized terminology for a global phenomenon in the Noctilucales page, because that would escalate into a terminology listing that best belongs in the Milky seas effect page.—Samatict (talk) 02:39, 21 July 2014 (UTC)
- Fair enough. Tharthandorf Aquanashi (talk) 16:06, 22 July 2014 (UTC)
