Betascript

edit

You added a book by Betascript to source Nasir ol Molk Mosque but those books are copied from Wikipedia and not reliable sources. Watch out for similar books in Google Books searches, see WP:PUS. Fences&Windows 00:23, 15 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

I wasn't aware of that. Thank you for your edit.

Use of comma in English

edit

Please see MOS:COMMA and WP:TQ for proper uses of the comma.--William Thweatt TalkContribs 23:45, 30 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

@WilliamThweatt: Thanks for sharing that. I've been using the American way all along. Didn't know it was regarded illogical here.
If this is the standard Wikipedian formula, I'll have to reform the entire article then.

Iran Geography

edit

Hi. You reverted my edit in page Iran and you stated the reason as "Unfit. Lies outside the line". Please explain what lies outside the line? As I see, The last 3 photos (Sepiddasht, Hormuz Island and Polond Desert) lie in the 3rd line. It depends on the font size you use and should not be a criterion. Regards.--Mostafa 21:04, 8 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

@M samadi: Hi.
Well, that's how I see that in my desktop version. You're probably right; that was not a quite logical reason.
But don't you think it's a little bit too much to have three images showing deserts? I mean, we already have images of the two most well-known deserts of Iran. Don't you think that's enough for showing the presence of deserts within the geography of the land?
We could go on with tens of other images like that within that gallery, just because they exist too, but that wouldn't be logical. Don't you agree, Mostafa?

About the number of images from deserts of Iran, if you see, now there are four images for mountains of Iran, two for jungles, etc. That section is for Geography of Iran and should be devoted to mountains, jungles, deserts, rivers and so on. Furthermore, there was not any image from east of Iran and Great Khorasan before and the high quality image from Polond Desert could be a good sample for Geography of Eastern Iran.--Mostafa 20:16, 9 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
@M samadi: Alright. I agree with the no image from the east reasoning.

Achaemenid capital cities

edit

Hi, this edit was based on a source already entioned in the article: [2] --Z 19:03, 13 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

@ZxxZxxZ: Consider leaving summaries for your edits. And do some research on the issue if you're to discuss it.
Pasargadae was the first dynastic capital, under Cyrus II.[1][2] Persepolis emerged later under the reign of Darius I.[3]
