Words

To avoid an edit conflict I should leave a personal message to you here; you don't need to respond to it howsoever. I noticed you've had a history of using words either incorrectly or needlessly wordily i.e. "bisected the lyrical scope", "crashed controversially", and the latest example, "multifarious records", which imho sounds awkward and steers the reader out of focus. This is not to lecture you but a personal tip for me, which has worked pretty well for my writing, is: "Never use a long word where a short one will do." (cue George Orwell). We all make mistakes and I think it's best to share with you some of my two cents. Cheers, Ippantekina (talk) 11:31, 2 May 2023 (UTC)

Met Gala

I noticed you reverted my addition to the lead of the Met Gala article. Now, I can start a discussion on the the talk page easily enough, but I was wondering what you meant by "unnecessary content as per WP:LEAD". It was precisely because of WP:LEAD that I added what I did: a big chunk of the article is about controversy, so for the lead to adequately summarize the article that should be mentioned. StAnselm (talk) 22:17, 3 May 2023 (UTC)

Everything related to pop culture has some controversy related to it. The Lead should be short and crisp. Unless there is something controversial about the entire system/structure of the Met Gala, it is pointless to mention a vague statement in the lead. Wardrobe malfunctions and celebrity feuds are not noteworthy; they're superfluous. I hope this helps. Regards. ℛonherry 17:58, 4 May 2023 (UTC)

Split Folklore live album

Could you split Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions#Live album into a separate article as Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions (From the Disney+ Special) 223.178.87.210 (talk) 17:55, 4 May 2023 (UTC)

I do not believe a split is required in this case. Sorry. ℛonherry 18:00, 4 May 2023 (UTC)

Question

Hey. I saw your recent edit to Beyonce, and I recently had a similar discussion about her cousin Angie Beyince being described as a music executive in her article. I said that she shouldn't be labeled that here because she is not commonly referred to by that title in media. What do you think? 166.194.204.46 (talk) 14:53, 26 May 2023 (UTC)
