Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Charango, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Aymara (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Mate (beverage) may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • mate]]'', the plant or leaves of ''[[Ilex paraguariensis]]'' with which is prepared the infusion), '''''chimarrão''''' ({{IPA-pt|ʃimɐˈʁɐ̃w̃|lang}}) or '''''cimarrón''''' ({{IPA-es|simaˈron|lang}}),

Hello, RoRo -- I see you've been helping out on the Cucurbita article. I just want to say that if you ever need help translating from Spanish to English, or just wording [expressing] something in English, I'd be glad to help you. CorinneSD (talk) 19:35, 13 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hi RoRo. I'm trying to find some good references for pumpkin/squash festivals, etc in Latin America so I can add them to that new section that was created today. The problem is I can't find any in English and I don't speak Spanish or Portugese. Can you find some and translate enough of it so it can be added to the article? If you prefer to post the info on the talk page, that is fine, and I'll add it in. Thank you. HalfGig talk 03:10, 21 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

I need help with a song

edit

You might be just the person I've been looking for! Could you possibly help me with a couple of fine points in translating a few words of Spanish in a Tex-Mex English song with some Spanglish thrown in? I understand the Spanish words in it very well, but there are a few fine points that I'm not sure of (a comma and a tilde). I don't think that posting on a forum is the best way for me to do this one. Lou Sander (talk) 15:36, 26 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hi, wordreference forums are good for fine points too, I think that's the best place for that. My Spanish is good but I'm not very good in translating colloquial fine points to English since I don't speak this language with anybody. --RoRo (talk) 23:48, 26 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. Remember that when adding content about health, please only use high-quality reliable sources as references. We typically use review articles, major textbooks and position statements of national or international organizations. WP:MEDHOW walks you through editing step by step. A list of resources to help edit health content can be found here. The edit box has a build in citation tool to easily format references based on the PMID or ISBN. We also provide style advice about the structure and content of medicine-related encyclopedia articles. The welcome page is another good place to learn about editing the encyclopedia.   Hello, I'm Walter Görlitz. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Mate (beverage), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. The "gourd" is known as a Guampa in Spanish. The rest is unsourced. Walter Görlitz (talk) 13:21, 24 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Mate (beverage). Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.
You are adding unsourced and incorrect content. Time to discuss on the talk page Walter Görlitz (talk) 13:27, 24 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

I don't edit war, I added the dictionary as a reference on the revert edit summary. Why did you revert it again? The dictionary is not good enough? (Please answer me, if you don't answer that means you don't have arguments for a revert) --RoRo (talk) 13:31, 24 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
Oh I'm sorry Walter Görlitz calling you. --RoRo (talk) 13:32, 24 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Gals Panic galpanic icon96px.png

edit

Thank you for uploading File:Gals Panic galpanic icon96px.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.

ATTENTION: This is an automated, bot-generated message. This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 03:00, 17 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Your draft article, Draft:Higher level classification of living organisms (kingdoms, domains, empires)

edit

Hello, RoRo. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Higher level classification of living organisms".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 17:31, 6 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
