MY TALK PAGE IS NOT A DUMPING GROUNDS FOR YOUR OPINIONS OF WIKIPEDIA EDITORS
editIf you don't like someone's edits, do the research to refute them. Make reasonable arguments and hope that they can understand them. If they don't, use dispute resolution. If your arguments were reasonable, the resolution will go your way.
Deleting comments
editAs a general rule, you shouldn't delete comments once others have responded to them (see WP:REDACT), and you certainly shouldn't delete other people's responses. Instead, please use the <s> and </s> tags to strike out your comments. I won't restore the material on this occasion, but please don't delete my comments again. Jakew (talk) 08:04, 4 May 2012 (UTC)
- Rip-Saw, I was just coming here to say the same thing, re this edit. You really should not remove even your own comment on a Talk page, especially after someone else has replied to it, and really really really do not delete someone else's comments. Zad68 (talk) 14:04, 4 May 2012 (UTC)
- I really really really don't care. Jakew can put his comment back if he likes. It will look pretty stupid just sitting there on its own. Rip-Saw (talk) 17:41, 4 May 2012 (UTC)
New setion
editThis is going to MEDCAB tomorrow. I just aced my last 2 finals and I have time to thoroughly research this topic now. By the time I am done with this article, the entire thing will have been gone over with a fine-tooth comb. I am going to fully read every single source, and if anything smells fishy at all, it's out.
- Wrap up that dead fish in yesterday's newspaper and rewrite the article from the top. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.199.159.75 (talk) 11:24, 11 May 2012 (UTC)
- I appreciate the input. I have no access to anything but the free repositories for secondary studies, and find myself at a distinct disadvantage compared to other editors. If you have any suggestions, I would welcome them. That way, I can at least come armed to the discussion, and contribute something reasonable. I will be visiting some local libraries, and seeing if they have subscriptions to EBSCO, Wiley's, etc. Any light you can shed would be much appreciated. I look at your efforts, and see great things. By the way, some of the editors were regularly reading my talk page, and writing to it, too. Tftobin (talk) 19:45, 11 May 2012 (UTC)
- I'd love to share the full articles, but it would violate copyright law. When I first approached circumcision, it was only with the intention of offering input on the article quality, as I saw there was a lot of dispute going on. I never thought I'd have to get so heavily involved over a small and simple change to improve the article. Rip-Saw (talk) 23:35, 11 May 2012 (UTC)

My laptop exploderated
editI/O error on m HDD, bad stuff. Still under warranty, so I can't just fix it, I have to go through the proper channels and I might as well. Lost 20+ research articles on circumcision as well as a short essay I was working on for MEDCAB. C'est la vie. Rip-Saw (talk) 16:39, 16 May 2012 (UTC)

You need to read wp:soap wp:talk, and wp:npa.Slatersteven (talk) 14:52, 29 January 2022 (UTC)
No violations discovered. You'll have to be more specific. Comment restored. Rip-Saw (talk) 05:56, 11 February 2022 (UTC)
Also, it is grossly inappropriate to delete opinions you disagree with without justification. Do it again and I report you. Rip-Saw (talk) 05:58, 11 February 2022 (UTC)
- Your second attempt to insert your soapboxing was removed by Slatersteven, and I removed your third attempt (see section below). You can report both of us, or at least, you can report me. The proper venue to report an editor for behavioral incidents is at WP:ANI. Good luck, Mathglot (talk) 21:13, 12 February 2022 (UTC)
