Happy Birthday
editHello RicDod. Your COI report is not complete without one or more names of editors you believe have a conflict. COI normally requires its own evidence; mere lack of neutrality doesn't show COI. If you think it is several people you could add all of them to the header of the report at WP:COIN#Jorge Ferreira with the {{userlinks}} template. People are not always pleased to be identified in this way, so it is good to get this straight. Have you just tried editing the article to remove the information you think is excessive? If others revert your improvements, then it will become more appropriate to post about them on the noticeboards. If there is no-one you feel you can cite specifically as a COI editor, it might be better to withdraw the report until it's more clear what's going on. Consider discussing the article on Talk:Jorge Ferreira, because there seem to be several concerned editors there you might collaborate with to make improvements. Happy birthday fellow Wikipedian!
editHi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Women in Red
editHi there, RicDod, and welcome to Women in Red. It's good to see you intend to help us reduce the gender gap. I hope you will be inspired to create new biographies of women, perhaps on the basis of some of our redlists. In this connection, you might find it useful to look through our Ten Simple Rules. Please let me know if you run into any difficulties or need assistance. Happy editing!--Ipigott (talk) 08:38, 12 September 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks for the welcome. I've had a go at expanding Danielle Belton which was recently created. RicDod (talk) 11:19, 12 September 2021 (UTC)

Women in Red 8th Anniversary
editWomen in Red 8th Anniversary | |
In July 2015 around 15.5% of the English Wikipedia's biographies were about women. As of July 2023, 19.61% of the English Wikipedia's biographies are about women. That's a lot of biographies created in the effort to close the gender gap. Happy 8th Anniversary! Join us for some virtual cake and add comments or memories and please keep on editing to close the gap! |
