editHello, I'm TheSandDoctor. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Kis Din Mera Viyah Howay Ga, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Possibly could be considered introducing factual errors TheSandDoctor (talk) 17:26, 20 April 2017 (UTC)
- Yeah actually the article doesn't say anything different, it's just worse-written than my way. Rex Iudaeorum (talk) 17:32, 20 April 2017 (UTC)

editYou made a suggestion on the Help Desk that did not get a response. They might be interested on WP:VPT, or there's also WP:VPR.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 20:36, 26 April 2017 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Futures and options
editHello Rex Iudaeorum,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Futures and options for deletion, because it appears to duplicate an existing Wikipedia article, Futures contract.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.
Your recent edits
editHello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Communication
editMy friend,
Thank you for the suggestion about the EFT. Absolutely perfect. I can see that you have hit the nail perfectly square on the head here, nearly on your very first day.
Welcome to the wonderful, wild, wild, and sometimes whacky, world of Wikiville. My first few years here were mostly of the whacky type, meaning I often was given the great and "glorious" honor of being the wonderful whackee. If you dare to stick around, I would be happy to give you the grand tour. I have already staved off a little behind-the-scenes wonderful "whaker party," that was headed in your direction. Stay close by and I will continue to keep you safe, at least until the "whaker party" realizes you are now under my protection, and the whacks they had planned aren't seeming to work as well as they had apparently hoped. I will keep you posted. Here in Whackeyville,,we have a namemfor such ill treatment. We call it "Biting."
Please don't bite the newbies! We still need to get that one straight around here. I can overlook breaking the rules by error, or by good intent, but to break them like that, unless the biting party is brought fairly into my sight when I return in one week's time, then may the biting party save WP, because I certainly won't. I merely wish to meet the members of this party individually so that we might be able to better understand one anothers true views on biting. In so doing they will have every right to use their own inner reason and wisdom to explain to me their recent bite to me, and I my reason to them to want to welcome a newbie. Obviously, the most reasonable and transparent venue for such an exchange of such a difficult philosophy for me to grasp would be the new simulated-email environment. Should they have any difficulty themselves in appearing before us to share and explain the exact nature of their philosophy of biting to myself and to others, and I my own philosophy of welcoming to them, then in my interpretation, perhaps they might be better suited to spreading and practicng the wisdom of their philosophy for other audiences whom they might find to be more receptive to their own philosophy of biting, far from here. Perhaps they will persuade me of the errors of my own philosophy, who knows?
I will very much look forward to entertaining such "interesting guests" one by one. The only three topics that we will agree to discuss there will be 1. the activity of newbie-biting itself, 2. their understanding our policy on biting, and 3. their understanding of how our policy may or may not apply to them. Once I have spent one hour with each of them discussing only these three agreed upon topics with them, I will then be quite happy to simply leave them alone, as far as my own philosophical interests might go, I would assume the ANI board will have additional questions for them then.
I apologize, but I personally place the value of the content/ character of Wikipedia, over the presence of but myself here. Should such a meeting with these editors who authorized this email deletion not be possible when I return, then I will consider my job as completed in Wikipedia.
My own aim in all of this will be merely to understand for myself why this apparent biting of a newbie occured, and how it might best be stopped. As one of the two parties directly bitten, though I may not be a newbie, I believe it is only fair that my philosophy here should be entitled to such a greater understanding as this. If my philosophy should be so poor as to be unable to grasp the true philosophy of Wikipedia, then obviously I am too poor of a learner to be able to dare to contribute my poor fare in a place such as this.
Yes knowledge seems to be power to some, but in the end it, in itself, can quickly turn to dust. In the end, it is but True Wisdom that is power. Scott P. (talk) 08:33, 12 May 2017 (UTC)
- Thank you very much for your interest, if the outcome of this process is less biting in general, I think it will be incredibly valuable for Wikipedia. Overturning this particular instance of biting is of relatively little interest, although it would certainly make me feel better. I don't do email but I will try to keep an eye on what's happening, and I will probably participate where invited. I'd better point out that while I look like a newbie, I'm not one. IMO an actual newbie would not have stayed around after the treatment I received, because they wouldn't care so much about this project. Rex Iudaeorum (talk) 11:36, 13 May 2017 (UTC)
