Salut Rashinseita. Wrestling at the 2020 Summer Olympics – U.S. Team Trials - Page deletion

edit

Hello again! Thank you for your previous help. I would like to ask for your help once more with great appreciation. I created the "Wrestling at the 2020 Summer Olympics – U.S. Team Trials" page over a month ago. Unfortunately it's name lacked other users knowledge of its content creation. As such, PabloLikesToWrestle was unaware of this and proceeded to make the "2020 U.S. Olympic Team Trials (wrestling)" page around a week ago. In order to deal with the confusion, I added most the information from the page I created to PabloLikesToWrestle 's page. That being said, I would appreciate a speedy deletion of my page in order to not confuse our readers. Note: This event takes place tomorrow. Please make use of haste. Thank you again for all your help in the past. Ooouah (talk) 18:32, 1 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please delete page

edit

I created 2021 Pan American Olympic Qualifying Tournament article. I realized I needed a new name. I created a brand new page, not knowing I could move my last article. Now there are two pages with the same information. I need the previously mentioned page to be deleted, however I do not have the administrative authority to do so. Therefore I am asking you to do so. Sorry for the inconvenience. Ooouah (talk) 04:55, 10 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Kristie Marano, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Iris Smith. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

If you see a heavily watermarked image that I uploaded to Commons, like File:Kathryn Kusner 1968.jpg, better wait until I clean it up before adding to articles. Quite often I find a cleaner version before retouching. Cheers. Materialscientist (talk) 00:42, 18 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Category:CAF Nations League

edit

A tag has been placed on Category:CAF Nations League requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Liz Read! Monfieur Thevenot

edit

Hi. I noticed the redirect and my first thought was “ Monsieur Thevenot”. In paleographic sources it’s easy to get the ‘f’ and ‘s’ confused, since a (very) old fashioned style ‘s’ looks like an ‘f’ in modern eyes. Monsieur Thevenot makes a lot more sense, considering he’s a 17th century Frenchman Kleuske (talk) 16:17, 7 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

Lily Beckford moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Lily Beckford, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. If the page has already been deleted, you can request it be undeleted so you can continue working on it.

Hello, Rashinseita. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Lily Beckford".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. If you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
