Lucky Date
editWikipedia is guided by a set of rules. Firstly, articles have to be sourced with references which is not the case for your submission. Moreover, your article doesn't establish notability. It would be of improvement if his career as a producer/DJ is further elaborated in terms of the events occurred in his career eg. career activities, album release, tours and etc. EROS message 13:39, 15 January 2018 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Kill The Buzz
editHello Raphael1256,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Kill The Buzz for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.
Speedy deletion nomination of Tom & Jame
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Tom & Jame requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Drm310 🍁 (talk) 20:08, 2 May 2018 (UTC)
Deletion discussion about Kill The Buzz
editHello, Raphael1256,
I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Kill The Buzz should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kill The Buzz .
If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
Thanks,
The article Kill The Buzz has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Iffy★Chat -- 09:58, 3 May 2018 (UTC)
Gauvain Sers (singer) moved to draftspace
editAn article you recently created, Gauvain Sers (singer), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the prompts on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. ... discospinster talk 16:56, 3 May 2018 (UTC)

Your contributed article, Kill the Buzz (DJ)
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Kill the Buzz (DJ). First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Draft:Kill The Buzz (DJ). Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Draft:Kill The Buzz (DJ). If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at [[Talk:Draft:Kill The Buzz (DJ)|the article's talk page]].
If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. — Frayæ (Talk/Spjall) 09:22, 20 August 2018 (UTC)
Thanks
editMany thanks for you thanking me on creating the page for Martin Garrix. He is a talented artist indeed and it was my pleasure. As a token of appreciation, since I saw your work on Gauvain Sers had been moved to draft, I edited somewhat the page to make things easier for your entry to be accepted. Surely him making it to number 1 in France and making it further to the Belgian Wallonia chart and the Swiss Hitparade chart will help in making him notable enough. See Draft:Gauvain Sers (singer). I may further improve on the page as well Again many thanks. werldwayd (talk) 19:30, 14 October 2018 (UTC)

Direct, reliable sources needed for Days of the Year pages
editYou're probably not aware of this change, but Days of the Year pages now require direct reliable sources for additions. For details see the content guideline, the WikiProject Days of the Year style guide or the edit notice on any DOY page. Almost all new additions without references are now being reverted on-sight.
Please do not add new additions to these pages without direct sources as the burden to provide them is on the editor who adds or restores material to these pages.

About adding English pronunciations
editHi, I realised you've been adding English pronunciations for French names. Can you please use {{IPAc-en}} instead of {{IPA-en}}? All you have to do is split the phonemes up such as this:{{IPAc-en|p|r|ə|ˌ|n|ʌ|n|s|i|ˈ|eɪ|ʃ|ən}}
Also, I'm not too sure whether some names have a defined English pronunciation - perhaps you should consult on a pronunciation dictionary or broadcasting video for a pronunciation and then cite it. Sorry if I seem a little up your sleeve, {{IPAc-en}} seems to be the preferred option. — oi yeah nah mate amazingJUSSO ... [ɡəˈdæɪ̯]! 13:31, 26 April 2020 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to Kaaze, without good reason. They should have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Please see MOS:CAPS. Thank you. Jalen Folf (talk) 19:01, 17 June 2020 (UTC)

editPlease don't change the format of dates, as you did to Fabio Vacchi. As a general rule, if an article has evolved using predominantly one format, the dates should be left in the format they were originally written in, unless there are reasons for changing it based on strong national ties to the topic. Please also note that Wikipedia does not use ordinal suffixes (e.g., st, nd, th), articles, or leading zeros on dates.
For more information about how dates should be written on Wikipedia, please see this page.

Introduction to contentious topics
editYou have recently edited a page related to articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Custom signature fix needed
editHi there! You have a custom signature set in your account preferences. Changes to Wikipedia's software have made your current custom signature invalid.
The problem: Your signature contains a syntax error or obsolete HTML tags.
The solutions: You can reset your signature to the default, you can fix your signature, or you can do nothing.
Solution 1: Reset your signature to the default:
- Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
- Uncheck the box (☑︎→☐) that says "Treat the above as wiki markup."
- Remove anything in the Signature: text box.
- Click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the page. (Do not click the red "Restore all default settings" button, which will reset all of your preference settings, not just the signature.)
Solution 2: Fix your custom signature:
- Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
- Click the button next to the error to learn how to fix the error.
- Update your signature to fix the error.
- Click Save to update to your newly fixed signature.
Solution 3: Do nothing:
- In accordance with a recent request for comment, all invalid signatures will be changed to the default, which looks like "Example (talk)", one month from now.
If you have followed these instructions and still want help, please leave a message at Wikipedia talk:Signatures. Thank you! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 06:05, 2 February 2024 (UTC)
