- @GetRekedLol: Vandalism is vandalism. If you plan to stay around then I would advise you to start editing constructively. RA0808 talkcontribs 17:13, 31 March 2018 (UTC)
- I ken it’s “vandalism” but you gotta let us ppl have a bit of a joke especially when that’s our school and it’s bad so we have nothing else to do GetRekedLol (talk) 17:15, 31 March 2018 (UTC)
- @GetRekedLol: This is an encyclopedia and articles are meant to be serious. Readers come here looking for accurate information and vandalism (even if it's meant to be a joke) is counterproductive to the goals of the Wikipedia project. If you'd like to experiment with editing, please use the sandbox instead, where you are given a certain degree of freedom in what you write. If you want to make a joke site making fun of things about your school there are plenty of free web hosting services out there. RA0808 talkcontribs 17:19, 31 March 2018 (UTC)

- @GetRekedLol: I mainly use it to procrastinate from my dissertation writing. If you do plan to stick around and contribute constructively you may want to refrain from making negative personal comments directed at other editors. We try to keep a courteous and collegial atmosphere around here and unproductive comments detract from that. Remember to comment on content, not contributors. 1985 Beirut car bombing
Just a reminder to avoid edit warring; even if you are correct, being correct is not a defense. 331dot (talk) 17:19, 2 April 2018 (UTC)
- @331dot: Thank you for the message. At the time I had thought that it would have fallen under the "obvious vandalism" exemption to 3RR but in hindsight it would have been better to stop after two reverts. RA0808 talkcontribs 17:26, 3 April 2018 (UTC)
- I understand what you are saying. That reasoning would probably be tough in this case, though, since buried in their reverts they did claim to have a reason for their removal ("None of that has anything to do with the act, and is merely a desperate attempt by conspiracy theorists to justify their insane theories") even if such reason is debatable or even incorrect; though the removal of the source due to a paywall was not valid. Better to err on the side of caution(as you already seem to be aware). Best wishes to you 331dot (talk) 19:39, 3 April 2018 (UTC)
RE: Ray Draper
my willingness to discuss is very limited, I just corrected some obvious errors, most of which are easy to spot if you read the backcover of his album Red Beans and Rice. I don't really care. https://www.discogs.com/Red-Beans-Rice-Featuring-Ray-Draper-Red-Beans-Rice-Featuring-Spare-Ribs/release/1772891 - the obviously missing "e" in "Chuck Goodn" isn't confirmed by the albums backcover. - "Richard Aplan" was misspelled for most of his life, as you can see when clicking his name on discogs. - Don Sleet was not a New York trumpeter, he was born in Indiana but came up in the San Diego jazz scene and - even though he recorded one album in New York - he never really made it much further than LA otherwise, see e.g. here https://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Don_Sleet In short, from the little we know about his life, there is no reason to call him a "New York trumpet player" - what I forgot is that "Jackie Paris" in that entry should obviously be "Jackie Mills", see again the album's backcover.
In short, I mostly corrected typos in claims that were otherwise not substantiated. Plus: whoever wrote the first version of this entry had some knowledge that is not available anywhere outside wikipedia (e.g. the Don Sleet - Ray Draper connection). I am already hating myself for touching the entry at all, because when people like you get active... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.24.186.94 (talk) 20:01, 4 April 2018 (UTC)
- Thank you for your message. In future, it is better to provide an explanation for your edits in the edit summary to avoid confusion (such as citing the backcover). As for the "people like you" comment... when discussing on Wikipedia please try to keep comments to content and not make insinuation about fellow contributors. Hope this clears things up, I will self-revert and redact the warning on your talk page now. RA0808 talkcontribs 20:05, 4 April 2018 (UTC)
Re: Fanta
Saw your Huggle rollback. I know anything Nazi related is going to automatically under high suspicion of vandalism, but please consider how it can be appropriate in cases of articles that actually deal with Nazi history. Please see article talk page for reasoning on why Nazi Germany is correct label. I'm not particularly up for digging through article history, but it appears that removing it to just "Germany" was a relatively recent change. Thanks 2601:141:200:BB50:315B:6A6F:27E:2F83 (talk) 21:16, 4 April 2018 (UTC)
- Hi and thanks for your message! While I may personally think there should be a more significant discussion at the talk page, but I will not revert you again after you provided the explanation and having skimmed through existing talk discussions. Happy editing, RA0808 talkcontribs 21:18, 4 April 2018 (UTC)
RE: Revert on Preschool page April 2018
I don't know if it's wrong or unnecessary but I removed the North Korea section on Preschool article because it looks un-serious that ruins the tone of the article like it was made by a vandal.
Can you please take a look if it is necessary to maintain that part?:
On https://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Preschool there was a one-sentence North Korea section that says "Children in North Korea are taught to enjoy military games and to hate the miguk nom, or "American bastard." and is not in line with the tone of the rest of the article while at the Talk page a section on North Korea a sarcastic remark says "That's it. That's all they're taught." possibly left by the original contributor hinting at possible vandalism. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 112.207.7.215 (talk • contribs) 21:25, 4 April 2018 (UTC)
- Hi and thanks for your message! There is nothing factually wrong with the statement, it is cited to a story by the Associated Press... which is a reliable source. As much as it may seem cartoonish or exaggerated, "American bastards" is actually a common way of referring to the United States in North Korean propaganda. Hope this clears things up! Re: Ingmar Bergman
Hi!
First off all, thank you for being alert and on the lookout for factual errors. People like you is the reason why Wikipedia is a great place. However, my edits are correct and here's why:
- He is buried in the Fårö Church churchyard [1] [2]
- Through a Glass Darkly was filmed on Fårö [3], as were most of his films. Below is a quote from said source:
"Bergman’s films are set almost exclusively in Sweden, and starting with 1961’s Through a Glass Darkly, they were filmed primarily on the small island of Fårö, northeast of Gotland."
- The sources in the article clearly states that it is Fårö (or in some cases Faro in international media), and not Faroe Islands. See for instance sources 30 and 31.
You reverted my edit with the assumption that it was incorrect, but reading the actual sources provided in the article would have proved this assumption wrong, and therein lies your mistake. I simply corrected the actual text to correspond to the actual sources that are already there. — Preceding unsigned comment added by SinjonSmythe (talk • contribs) 11:16, 5 April 2018 (UTC)
Ralph Lee Sampson III
I am Ralph Sampson III.
I want my page deleted. All information on this page is not true. Please stop editing any information pertaining to me and do not add anything pertaining to me or my family. I don't appreciate you putting this information back up repeatedly. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hplar741 (talk • contribs) 16:09, 9 April 2018 (UTC)
- @Hplar741: Before I begin please note that, at the moment, I have no way of verifying that you are actually Sampson. That aside, Wikipedia is not censored and all of the material on the Ralph Lee Sampson III page is from publicly available sources. If you have concerns please be prepared to verify your identity to the Volunteer Response Team from an official email associated with your real identity. Continuing to remove content without discussion or simply using your claim to be Sampson as justification will be seen as disruptive and may result in a block. I am pinging User:Serols so they can comment on this as well. RA0808 talkcontribs 16:23, 9 April 2018 (UTC)
Verifying my identity is will not be an issue. Please let me know how to proceed by verifying any information you may need, or who I can personally email/contact to have all information removed from the site. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hplar741 (talk • contribs) 18:18, 9 April 2018 (UTC)

In regards to “Can You Still Feel?”
You recently reverted my edit in regards to the genre of “Can You Still?” by Jason Falkner. As you know, I changed it from “Rock” to “Power pop” as I felt it was a more apt description of the genre than “rock” was. Now if I’m correct, part of the problem was that it wasn’t a sourced change. However, the page itself isn’t that immaculately sourced either. If we were to go by the sources (the most reliable one being AllMusic), we would have to put both “Rock” and “pop” in the genre tab. We could even go as far as to put “alternative rock”, “chamber pop”, and “indie pop” as that is what AllMusic states as the genre styles. And while this is anecdotal, having listened to the record, it would be easier to defend the record as a power pop record than a purely rock record. RandomTechGuy (talk) 19:10, 19 April 2018 (UTC)
- @RandomTechGuy: Hi and thanks for your message! I think this would be a case where you should discuss with some of the members at WP:GENRE to come to a better consensus about the change, as they are more knowledgeable in the field of genre identification than I. Hello!
I recently saw your message at my article about the number psi. I have added the sources as you wanted and added what i wanted to add. I had not finished yesterday (and i am very sorry) so you couldn't see the sources. If you have any rights Ill just ask to look at it and not to delete. I am new to wikipedia and i want to help here, I can tell you for sure it's not a fake article (you called it WP:HOAX).

- @Anatoly Wein: Hello and thanks for your message! Please note that I have nominated the article for deletion under the WP:AFD process because the sources you provided were insufficient. Links to a Facebook group and Wolfram Alpha do not meet Wikipedia's requirements for reliable sources, and if those are the only sources you can provide then this article is a violation of Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If material cannot be verified, that is if it cannot be found in reliable sources, then it cannot be on Wikipedia. RA0808 talkcontribs 17:01, 19 April 2018 (UTC)
Okay thanks for the notice. I'm not going to release my proves at wikipedia anymore. Though I didn't know about this. Do you know any online-site where can i release my proves? You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Rape culture edit
The references mentioned for the claim that hindu culture supports rape culture is inadequate. If you think rape crime is inherently rooted in hindu culture please source hindu texts which support that claim. If somebody writes a book about rape in indian and links it with hinduism doesn't suffice as evidence that hindu culture supports rape. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rohitkiran99 (talk • contribs) 15:05, 25 April 2018 (UTC)
