Proposed deletion of RiiConnect24

edit

The article RiiConnect24 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No references. Appears to be intended to be a pointer to a web site. No indication of notability.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Speedy deletion nomination of RiiConnect24

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on RiiConnect24, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.  GILO   A&E  18:40, 18 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on RiiConnect24 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. — Smjg (talk) 13:37, 20 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Your recent editing history at KidsClick shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Non-free rationale for File:Nintendo Channel.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Nintendo Channel.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

ATTENTION: This is an automated, bot-generated message. This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:06, 22 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:Nintendo Channel.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Nintendo Channel.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:39, 1 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Your final warning

edit

Please stop assuming ownership of articles as you did at KidsClick. Behavior such as this is regarded as disruptive, and is a violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Stop persisting on adding information that has proven untrue, or may in time. I'm about ready to ask for a disqualification of ToonBarn since they've proven to whiff too many times on schedule predictions here. And you've been warned more than once on the addition of old sources to this article. It's tiresome, and there are many more articles here which could use quality contributions. You aren't the only one allowed to edit this article, and removing helpful contributions has become a net negative to this article. Nate (chatter) 23:43, 3 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. Request reason:

I now understand why I was blocked. In the KidsClick article, I just wanted to add a source that Miraculous season 2 is debuting to U.S. TV., but Digifan23 reverted it, because it turned out to be an un-reliable source, in which Mrschimpf said Facebook is not a source, and I understood that. I created the separate RiiConnect24 article in case there was no info of the unoffical relaunch, but it was removed because there was already info in the WiiConnect24 article in the past. In the ABC Kids article few days ago, I added a grid with more info, but nobody cared about it anymore after 2011, and it caused an edit war to engage. And if nobody agrees with my edits and reverts them, I have to go with it. If I can get another chance, I promise I will acknowledge this, and change my behavior of editing in Wikipedia, including sticking with anyone's edits (not mine), not starting anymore edit wars, and not making anymore disruptive edits. All I wanted to say left is: I'm so sorry for my actions. Philblue7 (talk) 14:37, 16 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Comment Yesterday? I didn't revert the above, that was Digifan23 (though I would have agreed with that, and also, you've been reverted on adding the block's Facebook PR as a source multiple times to begin with; you should have known not to add that a long time ago). I re-reverted the ToonBarn source because it completely whiffed on the schedule prediction, as I described above. You need to know what you're editing, and why your edits are being reverted (especially as I have told you multiple times that we sort things universally in alphabetical order, we have sortable tables, yet you insist on sorting by show airdate manually and complicating tables). I still am not seeing that. Nate (chatter) 20:28, 16 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
For admin reference They changed and refactored their unblock reason after mine and Abequinn's comments to make us look like we were commenting on non-existent things; they added an apology, but no response to our concerns was addressed in the re-edits. Nate (chatter) 19:44, 17 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
Comment There is a lot more that you need to do. Your unnecessary additions of "RiiConnect24" in the WiiConnect24 article are not adequate. I even did an RfC to see if we needed it; we definitely did not, it was basically WP:PROMOTION.
The other thing is that the edits were long-term, i.e., you waited months before you added it again. First, you created the article "RiiConnect24" twice. Then another person created it again, after that, it was WP:SALTED. Then you added the mention of RiiConnect24 back into the WiiConnect24 article and it was almost immediately reverted per that RfC.
This came with multiple warnings in your talk page, with WiiConnect24 and edit wars. Will you acknowledge this? Abequinn14 (talk) 20:55, 16 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
