Alien primary source
For some odd reason my DVD disc is skipping, but anyway my DVD of the Aliens Special Edition includes a scene in which Ripley is handed a photograph of her daughter. The photograph includes the deceased daughter's "DB" and "DECEASED" dates (years, months, days). The dialogue says that the daughter died 2 years prior to the events in which the scene takes place and the DVD description text says Aliens takes place 57 years after Alien. Also, if you watch the next scene in which Ripley is talking with all of the company types and look at the screen with green letters, you will see dates included in that text as well. I'll have to watch all the movies again to see if there are other such inclusion of dates as well and again would have to check again if they match the article's dates, but in any event, there are at least two scenes in the special edition of Aliens that do in fact satisfy that aspect of the primary source element by displaying specific dates down to the days and months even. Sincerely, --Le Grand Roi des CitrouillesTally-ho! 21:15, 15 June 2008 (UTC)

Alternative medicine
I've unprotected Alternative medicine; looks as though it was a standard protection for edit warring a few weeks ago. Re-protect if you feel it's appropriate to do so, though I have confidence that everyone can get along. Cheers. --MZMcBride (talk) 18:57, 5 July 2008 (UTC)
IASTED
You deleted the article I posted about this organisation, saying that the atricle did not show the relevance of the organisation. Jesus Christ, guy, gimme, a chance to FINISH the bloody thing before you go deleting my stuff. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Normansatter (talk • contribs) 22:25, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
Notability of Nero
A tag has been placed on Nero requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NineNineNineNineNineNineNineNineNineNineNineNine (talk) 07:12, 12 July 2008 (UTC)

Lodoss War
Something didn't work right with the history merge, as all the newer edits appear to be gone now. Did you recreate the old article? MSJapan (talk) 03:32, 13 July 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for performing the history merge. I have a question about the {{db-histmerge}} tag: on which article should it be placed? My understanding/deduction is that it goes on the desired destination article. I wrote some reasoning at User talk:MSJapan#Lodoss to Senki. Flatscan (talk) 18:21, 13 July 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you for the reply and explanation. I'll see if I can improve the wording or at least drop a note on the relevant Talk pages. Flatscan (talk) 03:50, 15 July 2008 (UTC)

CindeRiley / Skate-Gate
This might have been due to a formatting error, but I noticed the article CindeRiley / Skate-Gate still exists and points to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/CindeRiley / Skate-Gate, which you recently closed. -- Ned Scott 06:21, 15 July 2008 (UTC)
Mobile Banking Vendors - Recently Deleted
Hi, You recently deleted the article I created a couple of months ago 'List of Mobile Banking Vendors'. I strongly disagree with this deletion, and would like to understand why you have done so. You stated your reason as "essentially a linkspam article with 10 vendors and their respective websites". The parent mobile banking page has been subject to a lot of spam, and I've tried to help reduce this from time to time. The mobile banking vendors list however was intended as a useful resourse. Please consider: - The list has been updated by at least four different registered users on occasions - It was intended to grow to include all vendors in this field - I had expected that more information would be added to the table as time went by (such as platform support, geographical market in which vendors operate, Number of banks etc.) - This is a subject that many of us are interested in, why are the vendors that are operating in this area not useful information? - Similar articles are deemed acceptable: List of ERP vendors, List of ERP software packages
I'd kindly like you to reconsider your deletion! Sosh (talk) 13:03, 15 July 2008 (UTC)
AfD relisting
Hi, you've just relisted the AfD for Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Live Your Voice Tour to get additional discussion. But I'm not sure a relisting is going to solve some structural problems in this AfD, as a big part of the problem here is the bundling of different articles together in the AfD. One problem is that each article has different notability aspects, and the "main" article of the AfD, Live Your Voice Tour, is clearly the least notable. This may skew some commenters who just look at that article and not the others. Another problem is that the two of the article names given in the AfD are out of date: Soul2Soul II Tour 2006 was moved to Soul2Soul II Tour, and Soul2Soul 2007 was merged into that. Another problem is that the original nominator of all of these, Rwiggum, now supports keeping the Soul2Soul II Tour article, but not the others. Finally, most of the existing comments in the AfD came before Soul2Soul Tour and Soul2Soul II Tour were heavily revised and expanded.
Obviously I'm an interested party in all this, but may I respectfully suggest a different course of action? Close Soul2Soul II Tour as a keep, due to being implicitly withdrawn by nominator. Close Live Your Voice Tour as a delete. Relist Soul2Soul Tour as its own AfD, not bundled with anything else, and with a fresh start on comments. If you can't technically relist a new AfD like that, then close Soul2Soul Tour as a no consensus and ask Rwiggum to renom it he/she still desires. Thanks. Wasted Time R (talk) 11:20, 16 July 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for your detailed response on this to me. I don't think I should follow your suggestion of contacting the previous commenters myself, since I could be accused of canvassing. Fortunately the responses since the relisting have been positive, and hopefully the next closing admin will give them more weight than the earlier ones. Wasted Time R (talk) 23:13, 17 July 2008 (UTC)
Lyndon Duong Article
Thank you for deleting the Lyndon Duong article immediately. I imagined it would stick around for 5 days. I wanted to remove it as soon as possible because my cousin, Lyndon Duong, was not happy. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. By the way, do you live in the Northwest Territories, Canada since your username is PeaceNT?
(Rallybrendan2006 (talk) 15:54, 16 July 2008 (UTC))
- Oh. I've been talking to too many people from the Northwest Territories in Canada lately, so when I see NT, that's the first thing that pops into my head. ;) I thought you lived there. Since I am going up to the Northwest Territories for three weeks in December, I thought you would know things to do in town (if you lived there), but never mind then. Thanks once again. My cousin is happy again! :)
Non free banner removal
Can you explain this edit? I removed the banner because the issue was addressed. I know all images have to be justified but I wouldn't call three non free images excessive use. Note the cast image is just one whole image as opposed to separate images for each character (the issue which prompted the original placement of the banner). Thanks. Sillyfolkboy (talk) 15:27, 17 July 2008 (UTC)
- Hi, You'll notice that the images are entirely different - the image itself does show a variety of images but it alone is one image and should be treated as one image for all intensive purposes. It is taken from the subject's website so, yes, it is still non-free but a simple grouping would violate non-free policy as a derivational work. This is a new and individual image. Thanks. Sillyfolkboy (talk) 16:01, 17 July 2008 (UTC)
- I was under the impression that number of images is a different problem to size of an image. Essentially the article has to justify the use of one image, rather than a whole selection of them. I think the problem arose because numerous images were being used (something which can't really be justified in this application). Would the problem be solved with a reduction of the resolution of the image? Sillyfolkboy (talk) 16:15, 17 July 2008 (UTC)
- This is old news now...but: someone else removed the copyright template and the first point here seems to support my argument. Lost (TV series) uses a title screen shot, a cast shot and a cap from an episode and that passed FA so i don't think excess use is a big problem here. Sillyfolkboy (talk) 19:51, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
