Aceh emblem
dear mr. Wilson, end of January I placed a request for redrawing Aceh emblem on the Wikipedia Graphics Lab/Illustration workshop page. The status changed to "request taken" (by you)on 1st February. Today I donot see this request any longer on the mentioned page. A few other requests that I sent with status "stale" I can see in the Archives 2014 page, but I wonder where the Aceh emblem has gone. I cannot find it - there seems not to be a page for requests with status "request taken" assumed to be in progress. I am rather new on this workshop-page and have no earlier experience on this matter. Can you please elucidate me ? sorry for bothering you. thank you and best regards / JanJC JanJC (talk) 12:58, 28 March 2014 (UTC)

Request image clarification - DMZ (computing)
Pbroks13,
Regarding the two network diagrams below. Requesting dis-ambiguity of the actual Firewall Devices.
Example:
- you have the router as red (red is usually used for firewalls)
- you have the lan as blue pc/monitor symbols,
- and then you have the DMZ *AND* firewalls as Green.
See original images here:
File:DMZ network diagram 1 firewall.svg
File:DMZ network diagram 2 firewall.svg
LAN computers should be green or beige, reasoning: these are the "good guys" the users of your LAN, the ones that should have the "green light to go"
The DMZ could be BLUE ... signifying a "cold shoulder" toward servers and services that are not trusted
Firewalls, as said before, should be RED. They are the hot bed of activity ... they block or allow based on policy. Also most commonly, firewalls are indicated by a red brick like pattern...
google examples: computer firewall symbol
And while the router could be blue, its more often depicted as a round circle with arrows
google examples: router symbol
These are universal conventions, and would help immensely in making a diagram that is instantly recognizable.
I hope you take this constructively ... and see the merit in this request.
Thank you!!
