If outstanding contriubution is a criteria for deletion, let find the policy of wiki clearly. Some way there is one biographical source, IBC, England in where the name of Bhaskar Mukherjee included. It is not the fault of biographer tyhat some one either spam or not spam select his her name. There are so many name which wiki kept without having sufficient reason to maintain. Dr. Bhaskar Mukherjee have enough contribution to the field and have very excellent scholarly publication so far. A teacher or a research have recognization by his articles, work etc. not but attending various seminar only. Let wiki decide which policy is correct before delete any page. I feel they are paying biasness towards some one on whom they personally have no knowledge. IN THE LAST 15 YEARS NO LIBRARY PROFESSIONAL IN INDIA HAVE AN ARTICLE IN JOURNALS LIKE JASIST, IF IT IS NOT ENOUGH, Dr. Mukherjee have also works in Library & Information Science Research, IFLA Journal, Scientometrics, Journal of Academic Librarainship. His work has been published by Chandos, Cambridge. Is all are not sufficient to understand Dr. Mukherjee'w work is not spam. I don't know who are the people put such non-sence comments before delete. Before attempting to recreate this article, please read over the notability guidelines for academics, they are significantly stricter than other biographical articles. If you disagree with these guidelines, suggest changes over at the talk page there. This article has been deleted several times and a discussion was completed with a number of concerns brought up. The latest version of this article did not address those conerns, particularly how often this person's articles have been cited by other scholars. The bar is significantly higher for academics, thats just the way it is. Repeated recreation of this article is not going unnoticed and its not going to change either the notability guidelines or the opinion of other editors who have issues with this article. The attempt to circumvent Wikipedia creation protection on the article by putting it in all caps also did not go unnoticed. If you feel this person can meet notability guidelines, create the article under your user space and then ask for help. Another editor, maybe and admin, maybe someone else, will review it and help you get it to a point where it can meet notability guidelines if possible.--RadioFan (talk) 12:04, 16 March 2011 (UTC)
