Use of talk pages
editI'm not entirely sure how to use my own talk page.Preceding comment left unsigned by page owner.
- Welcome. Just remember to sign every talk page with 4 tildes, or use the pencil icon above the edit box at the end of each post. When answering others, on their talk pages or here, indent as I have done here, using one or more colons.
- Also, I added a header above. Each thread should have one. When there are enough such sections, a Table of Contents will appear. --Hordaland (talk) 04:08, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
Thanks, Hordaland
editYour quick response helps me understand how people can get hooked on Wikipedia (even as I'm still trying to learn your fancy nerd codes).

- U R welcome. I've never learned the complicated stuff like merging articles or uploading images. But if you need help with everyday customs and codes, just holler. --Hordaland (talk) 16:03, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
Helping hand
editGreetings! I'm Piotrus, and I've volunteered to be your mentor. (If you'd rather choose your own mentor or don't want one, just let me know; you can request a different mentor from this list of Online Ambassadors.)
I'll keep an eye on your edits as you work on Wikipedia for your class, and try to offer advice where I can. If you'd like any help or advice, please let me know by leaving a comment on my discussion page. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 21:52, 1 November 2010 (UTC)
