Leonardo da Vinci
editHmph! There are those who want me to cite every reference with its page number individually, (I've lost count, but its about 170), thereby mmaking the page considerably longer. I've already divided it three way:
- Leonardo da Vinci - scientist and inventor- was he really in search of the "Philosopher's Stone"?
- Cultural depictions of Leonardo da Vinci- is that really Leonardo, or is it his grandfather?
- Leonardo da Vinci's personal life- did he like chicken?

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Killing joke laugh nearly bought one cover.jpg
editThanks for uploading Image:Killing joke laugh nearly bought one cover.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 08:39, 7 November 2007 (UTC)

WP:BLP and the various theme park "incidents" pages
editThank you for your input and continued monitoring. When I initially broke the various "incident" pages out from their main articles, all the news pieces had people's names in them. When the Superman incident happened last year, we continued to use the victim's names as had been the standard. As you can see from the commentary at that time that is posted at Talk:Incidents_at_Six_Flags_parks#tower_of_power.2C_victim.27s_name, there already is a fairly long discussion on how/where/why WP:BLP comes into play. Feel free to elaborate or create a special "top" section on the Talk page to flesh out that policy. If you do this, please be sure to make it generic enough that it can be copied and placed on the other "incident" pages as well. If it's good enough for one, it'll be good enough for all of 'em. WP:RFPP
editI just wanted to drop you a line and request that if your having issues with an IP vandalizing or an editor, please place a warning on the users page. If you find that it is an established user and are confident that he/she did make an edit that was unconstructive, remember this and just place a friendly reminder on his/her talk page. If you have any questions, feel free to drop me a line on my talk page. Have a great day! Dusticomplain/compliment 17:29, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
- Its requested that you template the IP's because it assists Administrators in blocking problematic IP addresses. An IP or editor cannot be blocked if they haven't recieved enough warnings....see what I'm getting at? DustiSPEAK!! 23:34, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
Camper Van Beethoven at Fillmore
editHi Ogre, I was just putting up this interview on the Talk page at Camper Van Beethoven. It was conducted just before the Fillmore show and may be of interest to you or anyone else who wants to edit the piece or needs a source. Why am I not doing it myself? Well, I work for the publication, Crawdaddy!, that published the interview. So to avoid COI issues the best I can do is tell you about it. Anyway, here it is if you'd like to use it. Best,Asst. Editor, Crawdaddy! FenderRhodesScholar | Talk 17:10, 17 July 2008 (UTC)
