- Since July, I've turned off my mentions to avoid being pinged. It's not because I don't like it, but there's an annoying LTA who keeps pinging me and several other editors with his extremely immature bullshit he posts on every page he can think of with a load of proxies, and I don't think it's going to stop for a year at the most, or even worse, at the least.

Me and Magnolia blah blah
editHey, just stop reverting. There is NOTHING to be gained from reverting. Report it and move on: he's just getting a hard-on from the attention. User:Untamed1910, you too. Just stop. You're just making more work for the cleaning crew. Drmies (talk) 22:34, 14 August 2024 (UTC)
- Okay, I guess I'll stop. Maybe reverting is not the right thing to do. NoobThreePointOh (talk) 22:35, 14 August 2024 (UTC)
Possible Andrew5 impostor
editMe and a few other editors have reason to believe that the recent supposed sock puppets might not be Andrew5. Just hear me out. There is a troll that has seemingly been trying to imitate Andrew5 and other SPIs trying to get attention. He has posted personal attacks against multiple people. Death threats against at least one administrator/CheckUser. And he’s been impersonating people. But the impersonations didn’t start until after I warned GeorgeMemulous about the possibility of impersonations. Regardless of whether or not it’s Andrew5; if it looks like an obvious sockpuppet or it’s purely a personal attack username. I’d I were you; unless there is a specific requirement to, I would recommend just contacting an admin or a steward and requesting a block; rather than go through SPI. In both Ponyo and EPIC’s words “revert, block, and ignore”. Hurricane Clyde 🌀my talk page! 19:23, 31 August 2024 (UTC)
- Okay, thanks for letting me know. Sorry about doing that. NoobThreePointOh (talk) 19:32, 31 August 2024 (UTC)

Naming of US Interstate highways
editThere appears to be an inconsistency in the naming of US Interstate Highways. Most of the article titles I’ve found have the state listed in brackets afterwards, such as Interstate 87 (New York), and Interstate 87 (North Carolina), and Maybe need to get some guidance from the project page to correct this. Dan arndt (talk) 23:35, 20 September 2024 (UTC)
- @Dan arndt For those? That is perfectly fine. This is because those two are different types of interstates that end in the same state from their southern and northern terminus. On the other hand, for I-59, it tends to be different because that interstate is entirely continuous and goes into other states too. Oh well, it's really weird how the naming works. NoobThreePointOh (talk) 23:51, 20 September 2024 (UTC)
- @Dan arndt: Wikipedia:Naming conventions (U.S. state and territory highways)#Interstate and U.S. Routes handles the distinctions here. A "state-detail" article is a sub article about a highway focusing on a single state, thus Interstate 75 in Michigan as the Michigan-specific sub article of the Interstate 75 article. But there are separate I-87s, so they need disambiguation from each other, which is why they have the parenthetical state name. Imzadi 1979 → 02:17, 24 September 2024 (UTC)
- That makes it a little clearer - thanks. Dan arndt (talk) 04:26, 24 September 2024 (UTC)
