Block message:

Autoblocked because your IP address was recently used by "Degu gal". The reason given for Degu gal's block is: "Vandalism (and using an open proxy?)".

Decline reason: User is too closely related to vandal. -- Yamla 18:19, 20 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

3 people use the same IP address, and the one that was blocked was not mine. I saw the vandalism that had been committed and I tried to fix it (with only a small amount of knowledge on the code that Wikipedia uses), only to see that my IP address had been blocked from editing articles. I had planned on contributing to the Chronicles of Ancient Darkness and Belmont Academy articles. We are definitely not using an Open Proxy, and I can assure you this won't happen again.

So you know the person resonsible? Since it must be one of the other 2 right? What is being done to stop this happening again? --pgk 17:04, 20 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

edit

I'm just dropping you a quick note about a new Wikipedian in Residence job that's opened up at the National Library of Scotland. There're more details at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Scotland#Wikimedian in Residence at the National Library of Scotland. Richard Symonds (WMUK) (talk) 15:17, 22 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
