Your comments on your userpage
editWhile you are not prohibited from explaining on your userpage how important war orphans are to you, I note your statements "I also tried to run a website with Yahoo. I feel as though I do not have the freedom of speech or the right to tell the truth about 4gottenwarorphans which was my site on Facebook and Yahoo." and "I hope you let me have my domain".
I think you are in the wrong place. Wikipedia is not a web host. If you need web hosting to create a website to talk about war orphans (a worthy cause I'm sure), then there are plenty of sites that will give you blog or webspace. You won't be able to use Wikipedia for this purpose though. Sorry. --Elen of the Roads (talk) 16:57, 12 October 2011 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of The Golden Child Book by Monica Kwon Baks
editYou may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
A tag has been placed on The Golden Child Book by Monica Kwon Baks requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about it should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you can assert the importance of the subject, . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the article's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
See the guidelines for specific types of articles: biographies, websites, bands, or companies. S*T*A*R*B*O*X (Drop a line!) 19:49, 17 October 2011 (UTC)
GI FORGOTTEN WAR ORPHANS
editYES, AS ALWAYS EVERYTIME I SIGN ON THE PROOFREADERS OR AUDITORS, CASE NOT EVEN KEEP THE SAME SIGN IN NAME OR TITLES OF ARTICLES, SPELLING CORRECTLY, TO MANY HANDS IN THE POT. IF THIS CAN NOT EVEN BE KEPT CORRECTED, HOW CAN THE COPYWRIGHT INFRINGMENTS BE LEGAL. THE NAME AND TITLES ARE ALWAYS CHANGED OR DELETED, AS WELL AS THE NAME OF THE ARTICLES, CHANGED OR DELETED, BUT THE ARTICLE IS THERE UNDER A FALSIFIED NAME. THE NAMES AND TITLES SHOULD NOT BE PLAYED WITH BECAUSE UNDER THE WIKIPEDIA AGREEMENT NOTHING SHOULD BE CHANGED WITHOUT PERMISSION, FROM THE BEGINNING, THE AUTHOR SAID NO CHANGES NOT EVEN THE NAME OR TITLE TO ARTICLES INCLUDED. THIS EXPECIALLY SHOULD BE LOCKED IN IT SHOWS, EMOTIONAL UNPROFESSIONALISM, JUST UNPROFESSIONALISM PERIOD FOR REPRESENTING WIKIPEDIA. SINCERLEY, MONICA KWON BANKS GI FORGOTTEN WAR ORPHANS/ THE GOLDEN CHILD BOOK - TALK.
- Monica, that's for coming to Wikipedia to edit. It looks like you've run into some issues and I'd like to try and help you if I can.
- First off, writing in all caps is difficult to read and is often interpreted as yelling. In the future, please do not use all caps.
- Secondly, here at Wikipedia, we have a vast array of policies and guidelines that govern just about everything that goes on here. As a new editor, no one expect you to know them off the bat but they still must be followed. I've been around for a while and would like to lend you my experience.
- Next, I'm somewhat confused about your goals here. From what I can tell, you'd like to create an article about war orphans, an organization that works with war orphans, and/or a book about war orphans. I will certainly help you create an article but there are policies and guidelines that must be followed. Most importantly, for a subject to have an article on Wikipedia, it must be considered "notable" and Wikipedia defines notable here at WP:NOTABLE. If the subject isn't notable, there isn't much else we can do. This is an encyclopedia and while all are free to come here and edit the encyclopedia and the information found here is free to use, the community decides what will and will not be included. In short, your freedom of speech isn't being impeded; the only "rights" people have on Wikipedia are what the Wikimedia Foundation grant us.
- Lastly, you say that "the article is there under a falsified name" and that "under the Wikipedia agreement nothing should be changed without permission". Unfortunately, I'm unable to determine which article you're referring to. Furthermore, no one owns anything here at Wikipedia. Everything found on Wikipedia is donated which is explained at the bottom of every page. Anything written here is able to be edited by anyone, assuming they follow our policies and guidelines, and is free for anyone to use. That being the case, we cannot use copyrighted material because we cannot give others permission to use that material.
- I'd really like to help you if I can but you seems to have some misconceptions as to what Wikipedia is. Like I said, I'd be happy to explain things to you and help you but you'll also have to work with me. Can we work together to achieve your goal while improving the encyclopedia?
