List of works by Arnold Wathen Robinson
Hi Sarah, I hope you're doing well! Love your drama llama!
Hey, you put a tag on List of works by Arnold Wathen Robinson - and while it's still a work in progress, the information has been: 1) organized into a table, 2) had a preliminary edit to remove side comments that were interesting but not relevant to the artist's work and 3) it's now 40%-50% the size it was when you put the tag on. What are your thoughts about where it's heading?
There's still more: copy editing to do and citations to find - but we should be a good step ahead now, if you agree.--CaroleHenson (talk) 11:31, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- FYI: list for tracking a group of articles being copyedited, formatted, etc. - including Arnold Wathen Robinson--CaroleHenson (talk) 11:40, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- Hi Carole! I'm doing okay :) Hope you are doing great too. The table looks great, which makes it way easier to digest :) Looks great so far (aka no input from me!). Thanks for creating this article, it's really great. SarahStierch (talk) 16:47, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for watching out for needed improvements! In all fairness, I didn't create the article, but pulled information from a long biographical article - so the material was already their ready to be sifted through. Take care!--!!!!

Fixing link
Hope you don't mind, but I fixed the link to the John Graham AfD discussion on Markshak's talk page.
Take care. =) Kurtis (talk) 15:36, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- Hi Kurtis! Thanks for fixing that. I have been using the new Special:NewPagesFeed and it's been doing some interesting things with links. I've put some bugs in, so we'll see what happens. Thanks for keeping an eye out! SarahStierch (talk) 16:45, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- Not a problem, glad to help. =) Kurtis (talk) 16:48, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
Thank you
Thank you for your comments on article creation, "Ken Sibanda." Do you mind taking a shot at editing the article down. This article has been rejected many times, this is the first time that a rejecting editor has offered constructive criticism. I think the point is --- Ken Sibanda is one of the first from Africa.....
In all fairness, he is a contributor to black science fiction.
Thanks a million --- — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mziboy (talk • contribs) 17:59, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- Hi there! Ok, I did a major edit of the article. A few things:
- I removed any uncited content from the article. This is especially important regarding personal facts and promo style content.
- I condensed things down. So many of the sections were short we really don't need them.
- I also removed any content for things that aren't completed or haven't started yet - i.e. filming of movies. Without citations it's really not worth keeping. And the citations that were being used were from his website, or non-reliable websites or press releases - anything created by him or organizations he works for aren't reliable.
Looks like it's ready for submission again. Good luck! SarahStierch (talk) 23:52, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- p.s. for further help it's probably best to stop by the Teahouse! Thanks again! SarahStierch (talk) 23:53, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- Dropping by to add a few comments about the state of the article. Mziboy, I know you're not a fan of seeing me show up near your work, but please consider these suggestions, because the errors I'm pointing out detract from what you want your article to be:
- IMDB and Filmaka both consist of user-submitted content. These aren't reliable sources.
- This looks like it might be a blog post/blurb based on self-submitted information. If so, that's also not a reliable source.
- This needs a more direct link if at all possible. Readers need to be able to find where, in which issue, on which date, this article was published, but the citation right now just links to whatever the current issue is.
- This doesn't support the graduation date it's supporting in the article. It also looks like it might be a scan of an advertisement flyer. The date thing is a minor issue, but it would be better if you can find a source that explicitly backs up the graduation date. If it's an ad flyer, that's more of a problem, because advertisements aren't reliable sources.
- This is an alumni newsletter, publishing a subject-submitted blurb. Not a reliable source.
- This is a sales site. Really not a good source, and probably needs to be removed for being promotional.
- This appears to be a dead link. This is the only version I can find that links to something usable, albeit an abstract.
- This is a blog post. It may be an authoritative blog, but it doesn't look like one. Blog posts are generally not considered reliable sources for anything except the opinions of the blog's writer(s), unless the blogs are independently considered authoritative.
- This appears to be a dead link. Replace with this.
- I cannot verify the existence of an article called "A Conquistador from Harvard" existing on Olivenews.com. This appears to be the only article they have about Sibanda. Consider fixing your link.

Thanks Fluff. I figured me tearing apart the article was enough for him to deal with before breaking it to him about the sources. - What Fluff says is the truth. The sources aren't reliable and could have the article be declined. (but, at least now it's a bit easy to examine!) SarahStierch (talk) 00:42, 18 August 2012 (UTC)
AFC Backlog
Articles for Creation urgently needs YOUR help!
Articles for Creation is desperately short of reviewers! We are looking for urgent help, from experienced editors, in reviewing submissions in the pending submissions queue. Currently there are 1166 submissions waiting to be reviewed and many help requests at our Help Desk.
If the answer to these questions is yes, then please read the reviewing instructions and donate a little of your time to helping tackle the backlog. You might wish to add {{AFC status}} or {{AfC Defcon}} to your userpage, which will alert you to the number of open submissions.
We would greatly appreciate your help. Currently, only a small handful of users are reviewing articles. Any help, even if it's just 2 or 3 reviews, it would be extremely beneficial. |

Ping
Emailed you about a suggestion that might help editor retention and one of our basic problem areas. Dougweller (talk) 11:45, 18 August 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks Doug. I appreciate you reaching out. My focus area is women (i.e. I co-developed Teahouse and I'm working on another project that is actually specific towards women), and I am a fellow, so I don't have any major institutional influence at this time. Some good people to perhaps ping would maybe be at Wikipedia:Editor engagement. While you might see my face come up (because I worked on the Teahouse) I am not on the Editor Engagement team. Also, I encourage people who have great ideas for projects or outreach areas like this to apply for fellowship projects, too. I am a member of the WikiProject for editor retention I'm just pretty swamped with my own work and my own "personal time" on Wikipedia that I don't engage that might right now in the project (I work full time doing work about this, so it's a bit tiring to come home and also volunteer for it no matter how passionate I am about it!). Thanks for reaching out, and I'll also forward your email onto some folks at WMF! SarahStierch (talk) 17:27, 18 August 2012 (UTC)

WikiWomenCamp
Hi. Some one mentioned to me that you had co-opted the name of WikiWomenCamp with out talking to the community behind this. This... has irked a few people because it looks like a female driven community effort is being dismissed, our work dismissed, our efforts dismissed by some one who doesn't engage that community and point blank refuses to engage them. Given the general knowledge about attempts to co-opt RecentChangesCamp and do similar things, this adds more negative to this backdrop. It would be fantastic if the female global leadership inside the movement that exists outside the formal WMF heirarchy could have a better working relationship with you. Can you please get in touch with us through our mailing list and explain the name re-use? --LauraHale (talk) 22:01, 18 August 2012 (UTC)
How do we contact you for the Bay Area Photo Hunt ?
Sarah, I've been a Wikipedian for a while, have had an account for only a couple of year, but all I've ever done is edit; I don't know how to contact another user. So I'm sure that what I'm doing here is totally wrong, but I can't discover any other way of contacting you.
I'm interested in participating in the Bay Area Photo Hunt, but you don't have a page set up yet, so far as I can tell. How can people join in? (I live in Berkeley.)
Thanks!
LMorland@gmail.com LauraMorland (talk) 07:03, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- Me too! I could be bold and just create the Wikipedia:Wikipedia Takes America/San Francisco page... but the template wants me to pick a specific date and place and so on. I suspect that inertia will make it hard to change whatever gets written down first, so I'd prefer that someone who knows what they're doing (meatspace-wise) be the one to choose the details. Anyway, if someone would ping my talk page when the event page has been created, I'll probably join in. --Quuxplusone (talk) 17:40, 19 August 2012 (UTC)
- Hi there folks. Yes, I had to remove myself as the contact, as I am out of the country for a while during September and I'm a bit burnt out planning events (I'm often the person who does so, and well, I get a little burnt out!). Being out of town for two weeks of the month doesn't help. Perhaps folks should also ping User:Almonroth as he's been active in co-planning the national conference with me. I'm in the process of making the Califoria Historical Landmarks into tables, so that's my big contributions. I do encourage people to be bold - plan things in specific areas (we did an unofficial one in downtown Berkeley recently), road trips, etc. Sorry I can't help more :( If I'm lucky to attend one that someone else plans, awesome, though! No kittens
I am terribly sorry you're getting so much negative feedback on the Rfc. It is a request, you'd think the editors responding would appreciate that their input is being sought, but unfortunately several of them have been a little rude about it. This is unexpected to me - I expected opposes to the idea of the link, but not hostility that there is an Rfc! I did not anticipate you would be being put through this sort of hostility, and I am very sorry you are. You are handling it beautifully, though. KillerChihuahua?!? 07:52, 19 August 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks KC. I had to remove the page from my watchlist just to keep my blood pressure down! I guess that is what I get for being too passionate about all of this. Thanks for making the effort to do this - it was a really nice surprise, and I'm sorry that it's turned into some sour grapes situation. :( SarahStierch (talk) 20:38, 19 August 2012 (UTC)
- Oh, that's worse than I feared! Please do not let a few rude people distress you. :-( After all, its just a few people who are being rude, and most of them make it clear by their posts they don't understand what is going on. Please do keep pointing them at me. I have no problem explaining the situation to them. KillerChihuahua?!? 23:03, 19 August 2012 (UTC)
Please Guide me to remove the Unreliable links
Hi Sarah,
Greetings!
Please guide me to remove the unreliable links or you yourself directly remove the unreliable sources on your own so that at least it can be published first. Whereas, in future, i will keep on adding more on it time to time.

Womanpower logo deletion
Sooo, I may have accidentally triggered a deletion discussion about the image used in the {{feminism sidebar}} template :-/ I'm getting Feminism in Russia reviewed for GAN, and, predictably, it's images that are holding it up. Anyway, I defer to your Commons expertise on this – if you can help save the image or add a new one to the (quite handy) navbar, that would be awesome. Thanks so much in advance! re Review of Rethink Perfect
Hi Sarah I will see what I can do about getting some notable references. In the mean time can you look at the page and tell my how to remove that huge image on the page. It was not part of my original editing.
I just wanted to chat with you a bit on this one. I'm unsure of it's notability because there are a number of things that conflict with my American view of sports. I'd certainly say that an American University rugby team is generally not notable, but in this case, the team plays in the Kenya Cup which is the highest level of rugby in the country. It isn't professional though. So what do you think, is a non-professional team notable if it is the highest level of sport in the country? Ryan Vesey 03:37, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
- Yeah, sure. Anyone can remove a PROD - it's nothing I feel that strongly about, but it's a good way to get attention for people ot improve things. It surely needs reliable sources, which would surely help with the notability situation. SarahStierch (talk) 03:39, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
- The league in itself is covered in Wikipedia with a whole article and the same case applies to the other teams that participate in that league. But if Wikipedia admins and other Wikipedia users still think that the topic is not notable by itself then I think it is wise for this article to seek refuge in the article on Strathmore University under sports. But IMO I think it should be a stand alone article. ₫ӓ₩₳ Talk to Me. Email Me. 04:32, 20 August 2012 (UTC)

Ways to improve 1982 Speedway National League
Thanks for creating 1982 Speedway National League, Rcclh!
Wikipedia editor SarahStierch has tagged the page as having some issues to fix. In addition, they wrote this note for you:
There is no lead, meaning the article has little to no context. What is this contest for?
The tags on the page can be removed by you or another editor when the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on SarahStierch's talk page.
Hello. I am attempting to fill in all the gaps with regard to British speedway history - some of the years were missing completely so i've just filled in the tables to start off. If you check my editing history you will see i am currently adding lead sections to pages that have none - i am up to 1956 - so i will eventually get around to writing one for 1982. thanks ... Propose merging Category:Women academics to Category:Female academics
Hi,
I am not sure if I am at the right address (and hope this is not considered canvassing), but hope the following discussion is of interest to you and other Wikipedians whom you may know: Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2012_August_6#Category:Women_academics.
It appears that there is a large group of Wikipedians who do not see a negative undertone when attaching the word "female" (or "male" for that matter) to an occupation. Ottawahitech (talk) 19:42, 20 August 2012 (UTC)

Dacor (kitchen appliances)
Hello, this is a response to your review of my article http://en.wiki.x.io/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/Dacor_(kitchen_appliances)&action=history
You stated the following "All sources appear to be unreliable. We need reliable sources - content from magazines, newspapers, television, etc., that isn't created by Dacor "
I understand now that the official website should not be referenced no matter how trivial the information is, so I've changed the two references which were 'created by Dacor' to other references. What other sources are 'unreliable' and why?
Also, I understand http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Wikipedia:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS , but I wonder why these pages have been accepted when they are dealing with the same issues, along with even less valid references:
http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Wolf_(brand)
http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Thermador
http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Viking_Range
http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Jenn-Air
http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Miele
All of the above pages have been accepted yet have the same issue. Now that this issue is fixed for Dacor, shouldn't the other pages be flagged? McGrupp (talk) 22:23, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
- Hi there! First, thanks for bringing those articles to my attention. I have tagged them appropriately and even removed some content from them. Second, they were created after the WP:Articles for Creation project was created, or I assure you, they would have went through the same process as your article. Third, resources that use content created specifically by Dacor still aren't reliable (i.e. say your products are carried by Best Buy, and you cite the Best Buy "online shop" that sells your product - that is not reliable because it uses information provided by Dacor to Best Buy). If you do chose to use Dacor websites, you have to use it sparingly and in an extremely boring neutral manner that does not promote the product. If your product is notable enough, there is more likely press coverage of your products outside of your website. Also, blogs, Wikipedia - any website which the content is created by everyday consumers without citations generally is unreliable.
Again, I assure you, if those websites had went through the same process yours had, they'd be right where you are. Also, it's highly frowned upon for staff members to write their own articles, so please take that to note! Thanks again for contributing to Wikipedia, and I also encourage you to visit the Teahouse for further assistance! SarahStierch (talk) 22:33, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
Thank you for the quick response. I have made another change to what I believe should be a reliable site for both of the changes I made earlier (reference to the president of the company and the appliances Dacor makes). Can you please re-review, or let me know what other references might be holding this back from creation? McGrupp (talk) 22:49, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
- Do you mind if I go in and make a few edits? I have some concerns about the language (a bit promotional in some areas). Let me know! p.s. do be sure to provide edit summaries - even when writing on talk pages :) Sometimes it allows people to avoid wasting time seeing what certain edits are (i.e. "did they make just a simple spelling fix or did they rewrite the whole article?) SarahStierch (talk) 23:06, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
- Please, be my guest. McGrupp (talk) 23:16, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
- I'm still getting used to editing. Sorry about that. Just added some < br >'s earlier to the links because it was hard to read. McGrupp (talk) 23:18, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for your help with this. I just have a couple more questions, if you don't mind.
- Why can't I find the article using the search feature?
- Why don't the 'external' links show up? McGrupp (talk) 23:55, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
- Hi McGrupp. You can find the article here Dacor (kitchen appliances) - I have added it to the disambiguation page for Dacor, too. (You have to put (kitchen appliances) after the name Dacor in the search box to find it). It'll take a few days for it to show up via Google, btw. The external links were being hidden by a template problem, I fixed it! Congrats :) (Do I get a free appliance now ;) hehehe..) SarahStierch (talk) 00:00, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
- Dacor offers some product giveaways through their facebook page, though this is information that can't be on their wiki page, is that right? I suppose it would have to be talked about from a reliable source... Thanks for those changes! McGrupp (talk) 00:06, 21 August 2012 (UTC)

Coal scrip neutrality
Hey there, the article coal scrip contains no original research. Its cited in Edkiins Coal Scrip Catalog. The monopoly was immeduate as a coal town typically is so remote, there were no other stores. So, I do not believe it to be a huge leap of logic to assert, they store, issuing the scrip, had a monopoly. (I presume that's what you're referring to). Yes, that's how the policy has always been enforced. Daniel Case (talk) 04:24, 21 August 2012 (UTC)

Article deletion
I will appreciate if you could advise on why my proposed article on how to play the social game “Realm of Empires” was deleted... I understand it was a very basic article, but I think it is on a particular matter that may interest other readers of this publication. I still understand it won't win a Pulitzer, it has no reference since it is a primary source, and that the topic may seem shallow for some editors. Nevertheless, maybe the point of consideration may not be any of the ones listed above, but the fact that it is a novel article that addresses a topic that certain stratus of the reading population may be interested on. As well as the fact that Wikipedia is a publication originally intended to contain all sort of knowledge on all sort of things in life: both grave and simple.

New AfC reviewer
Hi there!
I'm new to the AfC Review process, but I'm plunging boldly forward into the work (since it seems to be so heavily backlogged!) Would you be so kind as to review some of my AfC comments and decisions, or point me in the right direction as to where to get some more pointers?
I did read the help section, including "When to decline an article" and "how to accept one..." anyway, any thoughts you might have would be appreciated.
Thanks! Jsharpminor (talk) 18:46, 21 August 2012 (UTC)

You mean on College section? I can put more reliable sources. 24.227.93.118 (talk) 19:18, 21 August 2012 (UTC) I have added some sources. I hope it's good enough. 24.227.93.118 (talk) 23:42, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
I have two notes regarding your acceptance of this AfC submission. (1) The article was uncategorised, an applicable category would have been Category:Trolleybuses. (2) You may not have seen this but the article contained two mislabeled references as shown here. One reference contained an orphan ref name tag with "Janes2010" (none of the main ref name tags were titled as such) rather than the correct "Janes2009" (you'll notice that there was a main ref name tag with this title). The second reference was also caused by a mislabeled ref name tag, rather than "murray-p65", all the references simply contained "murray". These errors were obviously not caused by you but I simply wanted to notify you. No worries, I have corrected these errors for you. It is essential that we scan AfC submissions thoroughly before accepting. Cheers! SwisterTwister talk 04:37, 22 August 2012 (UTC)

Businessofcinema.com Notability Links
Hi Sarah
I just noticed you deleted the page I created for Businessofcinema.com for lack of notability sources.
Here's a link to a few notable sources that I have been able to gather. If they are alright with you then I'll go back and recreate the page. Thanks!

- Yup, I replied here User_talk:SarahStierch#Ping (I must have failed to provide a talkback, sorry, I have been sick so I blame my spaciness on my sickness), and forwarded your email to the appropriate staff members who will know how to handle the situations at hand - I was told that WMF has limited engagement in those areas for legal reasons, but it's above my head. Stub tags and page triage
Hi Sarah here you added {{stub}} to an article which already had a specific stub tag. I was surprised to see it was done by an experienced editor like yourself, but we all have our moments. Hey Sarah - Please guide me...
Hi Sarah-
I saw that you recently nominated an article I started about Robert Loughan for deletion. I actually wasn't planning on moving it to the live Wiki site because I wanted to add more content; I think I messed up when when i thought I was moving it to a save for me to keep working on from my sandbox.
One of my teachers turned me on to Rob Loughan and I was sad to not find a wiki for him so I started it. I would love to continue working on it in my sandbox in order to really prove that he is an appropriate subject of an article. What he does in business is very news and noteworthy.
Anyway... I would be grateful if you could guide me as to how to move it back to my sandbox and then when I really have a piece that I'm proud of and does him justice, show it to you before trying to make it live again.
Can you guide me?? I am trying hard to be a welcome member of Wiki world and I try and focus on subjects I admire and I know other people appreciate as well

- So I've been taking a look and I'm finding a decent number of sources that mention Rob Loughan, but they are normally talking about Dexterra. Perhaps it would be better to create an article on the company. Ryan Vesey 19:33, 23 August 2012 (UTC)
Thank you Ryan! Only thing is, what interested me about Loughan was the sale of Octane which from what I could find was among the biggest in the history of software companies like that (3.2 billion) and that he created BaldFace, which sounds like coolest place ever. I think it is what he's done since that makes the article relevant to readers. BUT I am here to learn and grow. Can you explain a bit more on how best to approach my goal of honoring a innovative and inspirational business person? — Preceding unsigned comment added by CharlesleChien (talk • contribs) 21:44, 23 August 2012 (UTC)
- Hey CharlesleChien, sorry for the slow reply. I've got one for you, but I'm waiting on a bit of a clarification from another editor first. She appears to be off for the night, but I should be able to get back to you within 24 hours. Ryan Vesey 23:47, 23 August 2012 (UTC)

- Hi again. So here's what I've been thinking. Wikipedia specifically based its notability requirements in a manner that makes sure Wikipedia doesn't need to determine notability. Wikipedia waits for other organizations to write about the person to show that he or she is notable. However, you can still write an article on him on Wikia.com. In this case, you could just copy the current content and provide a list of contributors on the Wikia page. Ryan Vesey 20:43, 24 August 2012 (UTC)

Teahouse Aspiring hosts
There are A number of aspiring hosts on the Teahouse Hosts page...Ebe123 and I found out through chat you were the one to make those decisions. Of course, if you think it to be too soon to add us and would like to see us to continue to interact with new users for the sake of experience, I can appreciate that. Just wanted to let you know there is some interest among us in becoming hosts. I, Jethrobot drop me a line (note: not a bot!) 02:22, 25 August 2012 (UTC)
- From what i gather, the process for becoming a host was too complicated, so heatherawalls created a new simple system at Wikipedia:Teahouse/Hosts temp (click on the box which says "Become a host"). This way editors won't have to wait to be hosts, Sarah won't have to "approve" them, and also means anyone can join. I think the "hosts temp" page will be moved into the main hosts page soon, then all will be in order again (More here).
- So please try the new system! I'll ping Ebe too. benzband (talk) 08:51, 25 August 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for reviewing Steam Bandits: Outpost
Thanks again for your time and efforts on reviewing the article I created. I was wondering though: will it be troublesome if I continue to submit other articles to AfC in the future? I understand that AfC gets flooded by many many submissions pretty much all the time. I'm still a pretty new user of Wikipedia though (in terms of article editing and creation) and a firm believer in peer review. If there are alternative and/or more relevant places to submit drafts or have them checked by others before being put into main space I would definitely be interested in learning about them.
Best,

Shiv Nadar University
hello Sarah you are in some way right about the article. But in all fairness that's all the info that's available as of now. I am in no way related to SNU. In one of my moments of looking for articles that I know of and have not already been written I found no article on SNU. When I started the article the info poped up that the previous one had been deleted. In writing the same article with mayhap the same info was because I hoped that those who had joined the Univ would fill in parts. I will do my best in finding more info. But in what way was the article advertising? Those are the bare verified facts from newspapers. That is why I typed them in in that order. RE: Don't forget to make your new host profile!
Hello. You have a new message at foxj's talk page. — foxj 21:56, 27 August 2012 (UTC)
I'm a little puzzled you declined it. The official sources prove his position, and Ministers of national governments such as he are always considered notable. More sources would help, but they are not really necessary. I consequently accepted it. AfD if you like, but in my opinion it will be about 99% certain to pass. I think the consensus position that if it is good enough to pass AfD, it's good enough to be accepted at AfC . DGG ( talk ) 22:37, 27 August 2012 (UTC)
- I'm even more surprised you declined Fredrik Logevall. Holders of named chairms at major research universities are always notable by WP:PROF, and if that is shown, nothing more in the way of evidence is necessary. This is explicitly an alternative to the GNG, and has very wide consensus.
- Of course, the article has been much improved since you declined it, with the addition of reviews of his books and other 3rd party sources, but it could equally well have been improved after acceptance. In this case, I am 101% certain the original version would have passed AfD.
- You & I usually do better in coordinating when we talk to each other Perhaps we need to do it again. Offline is certainly possible, email or skype, or phone. Let me know. DGG ( talk ) 22:48, 27 August 2012 (UTC)

Tyler Moore (Powerlifter)
I reviewed your feedback on this page wanted to bring up a few points. Yes, Tyler's records are posted at his organization (Colorado Powerlifting) but there are refs from ADFPA, NAPF, IPF and USAPL; all organizations that are over his own. The sport of powerlifting ranks fairly low on public appearences but Tyler competes at the same level as any other olympic athlete. The koaa ref was an interview for his making of the world team. I can try to find more refs out there but everything notable is ref'ed in the page. I review other athletes in more popular sports that had way fewer stats than Tyler yet they have pages. The sport of powerlifting is growing and we need to get our world team recognized. I also resubmitted the article. Please take another look at it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Coloradopowerlifting (talk • contribs) 05:16, 28 August 2012 (UTC)

Edit summary
Hey Sarah. I just deleted Rupesh Kumar (filmmaker), which you PRODed, but I noticed that your edit summary simply noted that you were "adding tags". It looks like you may have been using the new NPP thing that the WMF is developing, so maybe that was the default edit summary, but in future I think it would be best to clearly note in the edit summary that the article is up for deletion, like Twinkle currently does. I would have left this comment for the WMF people, but I'm not too sure who or where they should be contacted, so hopefully you will be able to pass this on to someone. Minority (Gigi Gryce song)
Thank you for taking the time to review my article submission Minority_(Gigi_Gryce_song). The Real Book has been like a bible to Jazz musicians since it was first (illegally) created. Inclusion in that book is a big part of what it means to be a Jazz Standard as evidenced by the references on List of post-1950 jazz standards. Of course, I only own the legal 6th edition, not the illegal 5th edition and have updated the reference to reflect that.
On a totally unrelated note, it seems that Amazon shows the index page of various books so that you can get the index and page numbers and often read a single specific page to cite a reference without buying the book.--GlenPeterson (talk) 15:46, 29 August 2012 (UTC)

Hello, Sarah. I see you marked Category:Unassessed Public art articles as not to be deleted. It looks like a lot of text, but only the talk titles will need to be translated. The intention is that these titles alone can already give readers a good overview of what the Foundation is working on in general.

Dear Sarah, Thanks you for reviewing my submission "Creating Wikipedia:Articles for creation/Project Bolo" I have received a notice that my submission has been rejected because of copyright materials being used. I am unable to understand which part of the text was copyrighted. I would like to review and redit my submission to remove any copyrighted material. Could you guide me where I can find the article I submitted to edit and correct it, instead of creating a new one. The link above gives a blank page and does not have any of the text, links and references I put in. can you please advise at the earliest. Hello SarahStierch I do not understand why this article submission was declined.Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/William E. Ingram, Jr. The sources that are used are official government sources. There are many other articles about General Officers just like this one, citing almost identical official government sources.
Why are these government sources not creditable enough? I've added more sources, but they are again mostly government sources. I'm not sure what kind of sources I could provide that would be more official or crediable.
Please advise. Thank you for your time. --Okanos (talk) 14:54, 4 September 2012 (UTC)
Ben Meiklejohn
Hi there, could you userify Ben Meiklejohn to my talk page? I did not even know the article was up for deletion and I'd like to add more sources to provide for notability. Thanks!--TM 20:22, 4 September 2012 (UTC)
- Done I put it here. SarahStierch (talk) 20:26, 4 September 2012 (UTC)
