Hi

Hi, well, I can still be happy! thanks. Also I would like you to know that I Miranda 'ized' my user and talk page. I liked the way yours looked so much in my notes for the edits I noted that it has been Mirada ed.. I need a word for this... And before you go, I think there should be a Miranda award created for editors who are not admin that help others! Like Miranda! --akc9000 (talk contribs count) 12:42, 29 June 2007 (UTC)

RfA thanks

Hi Miranda. Thank you for your support and kind words in my RfA, which passed with 95 support, 1 oppose, and 1 neutral !votes. It means a lot to me to have your individual support and the collective support of so many others. I truly will strive to carry myself at a level representing the trust bestowed in me as I use the mop to address the never-ending drips of discontent in need of caretaker assistance.

Lithuanian diplomacy

Miranda, relative to Ttturbo's Help Desk and {{helpme}} requests, please look at one of his most recent communications which appears to summarize his mindset and goals. Given its content and the nature of the back and forth communications of the past few days, I'm suggesting that the best course going forward is to not directly engage Ttturbo any more. Even the most conciliatory and rational communications with him prompt suspicions of secret police machinations and accusatory responses. There seems to be a deadline approaching over the next five days that is driving his crusade. It's possible that once this deadline passes, Ttturbo may move on to other projects. Thoughts?
Jim Dunning | talk 03:22, 2 July 2007 (UTC)

In fact, I do have him ignored. I am just informing others what his possible motives are. When he requested help today w/the helpme tag, almost no one in the helpme room wanted to help him because we first couldn't understand his question. Second, we were afraid what his response would be due to his recent history of incivility with users. Now, I can sympathize with him a little bit of him not knowing English, but his accusations of hacking as well as personal attacks on users upon an article has gone way too far. I am avoiding him as best as possible and suggest those who don't have the patience to avoid this editor. Miranda 03:39, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
You might want to make an ANI thread based upon his behavior. This was the last straw for me. Miranda 09:48, 2 July 2007 (UTC)

Blanking Pages

Hello wonderful one! I thought blanking pages was always important enough to report, correct? --akc9000 (talk contribs count) 13:04, 5 July 2007 (UTC)

Look at vandalism to see what constitutes vandalism. You don't have to report obvious vandalism to ANI. Miranda 13:53, 5 July 2007 (UTC)

Delta Sigma Theta

Hi Nick,

I am referring this matter to the Intellectual Property Rights Specialist of my sorority. She is currently on vacation, but once she returns I am sure that she will handle this problem. I do not have a conflict of interest where my sorority is concerned. I am stating facts. Most of the information on the DST page is outdated, not in the right context, and not even referenced or sourced. If you check the policies of my sorority National website you will see the policy is clearly stated that the DST crest/shield cannot be used without permission and that non-DST websites cannot link to our national website page without permission. Maybe the Intellectual Property Rights Specialist might okay the use of the crest/shield on this site.

Another problem I have with the DST page is that if you post factual information about my sorority it gets deleted because non-members usually only read two books on my sorority - In Search of Sisterhood and Shaped to Its Purpose. Also, there is a lot of information on my sorority that is not on our National website that gets deleted because non-members do not have access to it.

Thanks, HistoricDST HistoricDST 14:22, 5 July 2007 (UTC) historicdst@yahoo.com

There is more information on your sorority on other websites such as federal sites, news sites, as well as university archives. Wikipedia is not a place for advertisement. Your founder Sadie T.M. Alexander was a the first African-American who received a doctorate in the state of Pennsylvania, and I received and researched pictures from the UPenn archives to add to Commons. Yet, you removed the pictures which I spent MANY hours researching for those pictures and improving the quality of one of the pictures. By the way that you are claiming, if the Delta Sigma Theta doesn't have the shield, pictures illustrating progress of the sorority, conflict within the sorority, etc. the sorority will stay at a start level and not even reach FA, yet B level. Miranda 14:53, 5 July 2007 (UTC)

LETS CLEAR SOMETHING UP FIRST. I ONLY REMOVED THE DST SHIELD FROM THE DST PAGE AND I DID NOT REMOVE ANY OTHER PICTURES. I HAVE NOT EVEN ACCESS SOROR ALEXANDER'S WIKIPEDIA PAGE SO YOU HAVE THE WRONG PERSON WITH REGARDS TO DELETING ANYTHING FROM SOROR ALEXANDER'S PAGE. The DST Intellectual Property Rights Specialist(IRPS) will make a determination on the status of the DST crest/shield. As long as the DST page conforms with our National guidelines than I am ok. If appears Miranda if someone disagrees with you than you label them as having a conflict of interest when that is not the case. HistoricDST 15:21, 5 July 2007 (UTC) HistoricDST

First, you removed some items: maintenance tags, the Commons category, the elephant, the violet, and the shield. Second, I do not make the rules, the community makes the rules. Third, if you don't abide by these rules, disrupt the encyclopedia by removing information, and act uncivil, you will be blocked from editing. Clear and simple. Wikipedia + User - not abiding by rules and guidelines = blocked from editing Wikipedia. For the shield, let's wait until the IRSP acts, but as it stands, the article is still start class. Miranda 16:28, 5 July 2007 (UTC)

The only thing that I deleted was the DST crest/shield because it is not in compliance with DST guidelines. I did not delete the DST flower. I changed the flower type from African violet to Violet because the African violet is not our official flower even though it has a special meaning. As far as deleting maintance tags I do not even know what a maintenance tag is? Don’t accuse me of things I did not do. I noticed however that you deleted the Haiti flag from my sorority page even though we have a chapter there. Again it appears that if someone disagrees with you are quick to label them as having a conflict of interest, being hostile, not having a neutral point of view etc. You fail to realize that members have access to more information than you do. HistoricDST 17:34, 5 July 2007 (UTC)

A maintenence tag is a notice which states what needs to be improved in the article. Look at the diff. that I provided. You deleted more information on the page other than the shield, as well as the elephant. Why are you accusing me of not knowing what I am doing when I have almost six months of experience on this project compared to your experience? You have shouted and became uncivil at users and are unfamiliar with policy, even though I and other users tell you what is and isn't allowed on this project. As far as the information on this page, I really don't care what a person has to do in order to become a Delta. This is only to provide an overview of the history of DST, what it does for the community, possible contraversies, etc. Miranda 17:45, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
And, I deleted the Haiti flag because according to the official website, no chapter exists there. Miranda 17:54, 5 July 2007 (UTC)

It appears that who ever uses this IP address 75.64.104.176 deleted the pictures you are talking about. That is why I am upset. You can check my IP address and it is NOT 75.64.104.176. Check the dates 6/18/07 and 6/25/07 on the DST history or user pages (not sure what it is called). Again do not accuse me of deleting your pictures and deleting information from Soror Alexander’s page because I did not. I only deleted the DST crest/shield. I will admit that I know zero about using this site. That is why I have not tried to do any substantial updating to the DST page even though I have quite a few ideas on how the page could be improved.

The DST National website does not contain quite of bit of DST information. On page 9 of Shaped to It Purpose it states “That chapters recently have been formed in Haiti, Alaska, and Liberia is some proof of the effectiveness of this program.”

On page 198 in Shaped to It Purpose it states in the Appendix “Rosters of Chapters 1963 Chapter current name: Port au Prince Alumnae, Chapter Former Name: Delta Zeta Sigma, Port au Prince Haiti, Type of Chapter: Foreign, Chapter Established: 1950.”

ISOS page 219-220 “After her return, arrangements were made to initiate the sorority’s first international chapter: Delta Zeta Sigma, an alumnae chapter based in Haiti’s capital, organized by Haitian Sorors Jacqueline Coicou, an instructor in the Teachers College in Port-au-Prince, and Marie Berger, a member of the UN’s secretariat.”

We also have chapters in England- England Alumnae Chapter, Jamaica- Jamaica Alumnae, and Panama – Panama Alumnae Chapter. Plus we have an undergraduate chapter at Gallaudet University for deaf Sorors. HistoricDST 18:47, 5 July 2007 (UTC)

Sigh, you did remove the images, shown by this diff.. This issue is   Done with me. Second, if the chapter is not located on the national website, then you need to cite the information. FYI, I have the book, too, but I am too busy improving Alpha Kappa Alpha in order to mess with Delta right now. Put your ideas on the article's talk page before making any drastic edits. Also, read the welcome message on your talk page to see how Wikipedia works. I tagged the sock as you because you both have a habit using cap locks in order to prove a point. Troll-feeding

lol!!! I love the flaming hellpots! Definitely my favorite recognition. Oh, the fingers were quivering, but I rushed across the bridge without even looking over the side. Hah! That troll's not getting me. Thank you very much for the award. I can sympathize with Ttturbo that WP can seem ultra-focused on rules rather than content, and, usually, rational discussions achieve mutual understanding and respect. Unfortunately, that's not going to happen in this case. It still bothers me that there is a distressed human being on the other end of that particular Internet connection. Well, at least this experience resulted in my first case of Talk page vandalism. Thanks for your help with this situation.

Regarding your revert.

I did subst it to remove the template from the category "candidates for speedy deletion", and how come it has been for so many weeks, and I haven't even got questioned by administrator? It isn't in the category, where else would admins check? Just wondering.... TheBlazikenMaster 00:54, 7 July 2007 (UTC)

Well, Miranda reverted me on my talk page, and I'm just wondering where else admins would check. TheBlazikenMaster 01:00, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
The administrators can get confused sometimes and the template is supposed to be used on mainspace and not userpages. Also, I explained my rationale here. Miranda 01:11, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
I know, but would it confuse them if I made an Imageshack link instead? Anyway, thanks for your help on my page, really appreciated. TheBlazikenMaster 01:19, 7 July 2007 (UTC)

Not a banner for the bishapod

Hi, Miranda! I wasn't thinking of a banner so much. More an animated version of the portrait on his page. I would love to have an animation where the 'pod moves his tail and flippers. If the movements can suggest he's swimming, that would be even better.

I mean, more like Bunchograpes' animated Bishzillas. They aren't banners, you know? Here are the animated Bishzillas:

And here's the sadly stationary Bishapod:

"Template"..."Speculation"

Miranda, re your note to me on User talk:Nick... (1) I've never seen the "Don't template" page before, and I've been on Wikipedia long enough that I thought I've seen everything. Man, they have a policy page or essay for everything, don't they? (2) I never encountered Nick before and wasn't aware he was a regular or an administrator. On that latter point, who could blame me?--does he behave as administrators should? (3) The part about speculation being libelous is non sequitur for two reasons. First, there was nothing on Al Gore III that was speculation; all the material was attributed and cited. Second, I didn't add any of it. If you're really accusing me of inappropriate behavior, on Wikipedia, the facts need to be reviewed. Robert K S 13:07, 6 July 2007 (UTC)

First, please see reliable sources. Second, Nick would have done as any other administrator would have done regarding BLP. Third, not all sources are reliable, see the Rachel Marsden case. Miranda 16:24, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
Non-sequitur (the sources were reliable), Gosh I hope not, and Repeat of first. Robert K S 00:22, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
Living persons and defamation do not mix. Miranda 23:33, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
On that we agree. You seem still not to understand the issue. There was no defamation. To adapt a line from Jerry Maguire, "Show me the defamation!" Robert K S 19:15, 10 July 2007 (UTC)

Somehow I thought that copyright was one thing where you couldn't assume good faith. Blueboy96 18:59, 10 July 2007 (UTC)

On her userpage, it says she likes piracy and doesnt bother with copyright.—treyjay–jay 19:00, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
Ah, didn't see that. Also, Wikipedia is not a battleground per this edit. I don't think you or Blueboy96 should "keep an eye on me." I am trying to build an encyclopedia. If you or him are here to disrupt my editing, take it else where, because I don't have time for petty games which aren't constructive. This drives off potentially good editors to the project. So the moral of the story is, assume good faith. Miranda 19:07, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
I'm staying out of this, Miranda ... in my next edit I actually said that I disagreed with Trey. Now, on to more important stuff ... like writing articles. Blueboy96 19:14, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
Cool. I just want to write articles, and not disrupt the encyclopedia. Miranda 20:01, 10 July 2007 (UTC)

Citing policies

Please refrain from slapping policy citation on the regulars, reminding experienced users to assume good faith or to read other policies is not a wise idea, these are meant to be cited to newbies but telling experienced editors policies is likely to cause disruption, I have came across WP:SLAP so I suggest you read that. FPT 19:13, 10 July 2007 (UTC)

I am sorry, what are you referring to? I am trying not to disrupt but thanks for your note. Miranda 19:15, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
Well I mean your comments at this RfA, your comment on TreyWiki's talk page.....FPT 19:20, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
I commented on that because in my viewpoint, I think administrators need to be familiar with those policies. As for the other user in question, no comment. Miranda 19:34, 10 July 2007 (UTC)

Sand Box

{{helpme}}

Is a user able to create more than one sandbox? Or are users allowed only one sandbox? If a user can create a second (or third or fourth) sandox, how does one do that? If a user is not allowed to create multiple sandboxes, how does one work on (and save) projects when one is working on multiple projects at the same time? Thanks. Yes under this, multiple sandboxes/subpages are allowed. For example, please see my sandbox shown here: User:Miranda/sandbox. Cheers. Miranda 18:14, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
Hi, thanks for your help on this sand-box issue. I appreciate your input and directing me to the correct links. Miranda, the poddie seems to have done quite reasonably with his boxen (and I saw you helped him), for such a n00b, not to mention such an idiot, but he can't seem to achieve any border round the lower two "boxes", the images with the swimming and the stuffed toys. Barnstar

The Original Barnstar

  The Original Barnstar
This Barnstar is for several reasons. The first being your userpage is amazing, the best i'm yet to see. Secondly, your contributions are great and you fight against vandalism, which always deserves rewarding! Keep it up! Jackrm 16:59, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
Sure it may seem random, but i'm giving a few more out now. I believe in encouraging people, and I think Barnstars are a great way to do this! Keep up the good work! (Also i wasn't sure if i should put it in your Awards page or not, so i put it here, so you can put it where you like!) Jackrm 16:59, 21 July 2007 (UTC).
Thanks so much for the barnstar. I left you a message on your talkpage on how Wikipedia works. Cheers! Miranda 04:54, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
Haha thanks, but i had a welcome template ages ago when i first started wikipedia. Thanks anyway! Jackrm 16:16, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
Also, may I ask how you keep count of your contributions so easily? Thanks. Jackrm 16:25, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
I have an edit counter header on my userpage which gives details of my contributions. Thanks. Miranda 22:57, 22 July 2007 (UTC)

Awww!

Awww, thank you for asking, and for the kind words, dear Miranda! :) Doing fine over here, much more relaxed than the last week, thanks God... btw, this reminds me I owe you an email! Please do check later, or tomorrow at most, k? Hope you're having a lovely weekend! Love, Phaedriel - 00:12, 22 July 2007 (UTC)

Thanks, Phaedriel for the well wishes. Miranda 04:49, 22 July 2007 (UTC)

Thanks a lot!

for clarifying for me! I do hope I don't break any of your rules in return, by typing this here - some of your icons covered your first two or three rules. Best regards, Keinstein 02:24, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

DJ Minis

S/he has added ANOTHER DJ Minis Article (Dj minis) and has TWICE removed the speedy deletion tag I have put on it. I noticed on his talk page he has done this before, and been warned. I am not an admin, so I can't do anything about it, but since you have dealt with him/her before, could you please check it out for me?

regards,
Gbenemy 18:09, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

Don't worry, TexasAndroid has solved the situation. Sorry for that.
By the way, amazing user talk page :D.
Gbenemy 18:45, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
I am not an administrator either. Miranda 22:22, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
Oh, sorry :$ I thought you were. Sorry for writing to you then,
Gbenemy 22:36, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

You can basically determine if a user is an administrator if they have a mop on their page, see ElinorD's page for example. Cheers. Miranda 22:45, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

Yes, I know that, but I saw your talk page and it had "Requests for Admin" box so I thought you were an administrator who overlooked people wishing to become an adminisrator if that makes any sense. You should be an admin though, you clearly have good knowledge as to the wiki-code and from what i've seen you have a quite alot of contributions and are really nice :D you should apply! Gbenemy 23:56, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
The request for adminships box is concerning the current status of people who are running for adminship. Many people have this on their user pages. As far as the RFA process goes, I am considering it for the time being. Miranda 00:00, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
Well, if you do apply for adminship, I wish you luck, and if there is a public voting procedure, inform me, and I shall give you my vote :D
GBenemy (talk) 03:58, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
Nah, that would consist of canvassing. Just check on the requests for adminships list every so often. :-) Miranda 17:13, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

Hey there :)

Just a quick note to tell you that you dont have to leave {{indef}} on the userpages of indef blocked users as there is a massive backlog at CAT:TWU and we dont want to add to it! I noticed you did at the userpage of a now blocked inappropriate username. Regards, — Rlest (formerly Qst) 16:37, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

The user was also blocked for vandalism was well. And, the user can make sockpuppet accounts? Miranda 16:40, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
What, you put a question mark there but I dont see a question... — Rlest (formerly Qst) 16:41, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
The situation is taken care of. Don't worry about it anymore. Miranda 16:45, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
OK  . Now you know I'm not just a newbie (lol!)......— Rlest (formerly Qst) 16:51, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

I think you...

...Should stop slapping people with policies. With respect to you Miranda I left that note in a friendly way thats why I left a smile at the end, their was no need to bite, I dont need to be reminded to assume good faith, I was at this encyclopedia long before you and when I adopted you as Real96 I did not teach to treat people like you do...Calm down. — Rlest (formerly Qst) 15:45, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

Oh and by the way, yes I am Qst but please refer to me under my new username. I dont call you Real96 so do the same for others, have some courtesy please....— Rlest (formerly Qst) 15:46, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
Look Miranda, we dont get along and pobably never will I was just telling you to stop citing policies to experienced editors, especially WP:DISRUPT as you always use that as a backup plan to defend your edits, this is becoming lame but downgrading people because you have more edits/experience is not nice as I could taunt you as I have more than you but I dont do I.... . — Rlest (formerly Qst) 15:58, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

DST/AKA Split

Miranda the DST/AKA split is viewed from two different sorority view points. All of my DST Founders were former AKAs, not just seven members were former AKAs as the AKAs like to say. Each sorority page should reflect the views of each organizaton. My concern with your editing or rewording of the DST page is that you are not correcting reflecting the history of DST. Everything about DST is not in ISOS. 162.140.67.10 16:17, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

Also, several books written by memebers of DST including ISOS and Shaped to its Purpose, interviews with all 22 Founders of DST, minutes from the actual meeting in the Fall of 1912 indicate that all twenty-two members were former AKAs. Again each sorority page should reflect the veiw point of each sorority. The change you made on DST page was based on AKAs viewpoint which is not the veiw point held by DST. Therefore, each page should reflect the view point of eacg organization. So twenty-two not just seven members were former AKAs who founded DST. HistoricDST 16:48, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

Nope, this will violate the neutral point of view section. I believe that both sections should be included. I have included references from DST in the AKA article, and I do believe that the same should be same for Delta Sigma Theta. According to In the Eye of the Beholder, page thirty, seven members were initiated into the sorority. Myra Hemmings was elected president. The page is not a brochure for the sorority, but rather an informative overview of the sorority's history, programs, membership, and potential controversy (which includes accusations of hazing). Each type of content that you include must be verifiable, or this will constitute original research. Right now, you have been kind of owning the article on multiple occasions: see this, this, this, this discussion as well as this discussion where you acted uncivil and have not been improving the content of the article or expanding articles for your sorority. Such behavior can be considered disruptive in order to prove a point and can warrant a block from Wikipedia. You can ask me questions regarding improving or contributing to the article, but further disruptions such as revisions or content improvements should be discussed on Talk:Delta Sigma Theta. This article isn't high priority for me. If you want to ask a question regarding to how many members were inducted into AKA for more verification, please contact Mrs. Earnestine G. McNealey at this e-mail: archives at aka1908 dot com. Cheers. Miranda 01:10, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

Miranda you are making changes to the DST page without putting those changes in the DST talk pages before you are doing so that others may express an opinon. You are not approaching the changes you are making from a neutral point of view. It appears that if someone disagrees with you then you label them as being disrupted. I have not seen you inquire of any DST members to provide facts that would suppor the DST version of the split. In fact, you make changes without having any discussion of those changes. Have you called my sorority historian for our official version of the events that took place concerning the split? There are different view points of the DST/AKA split from both sororities and each respective version should be reflected on their sorority’s page. Also, I am typing up some factual information from DST history books. I know that you say that you have, but have you honestly read ISOS? If you did then you would realize that both sororities do not agree on how events occured. Also, there are a lot of other books on DST besides ISOS. HistoricDST 02:54, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

In Black Greek 101 by Walter M. Kimbrough, on page 34 it says that “One of the historical points of contention during the foundation era of collegiate Black Greek – lettered organizations was the founding of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. The AKA chapter of 1912 planned to change the name and colors of the organization after contacting some women who had graduated for their input. This stirred at least one dissenter, who fought the changes of the organization and forced the hand of the twenty –two undergraduates. Eventually the undergraduates continued with their plan and formed Delta Sigma Theta, prior to university approval.” HistoricDST 03:05, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

I don't think you should be contributing to the article any more due to your conflict of interest. I have indeed read ISOS. Yes, I do agree that both sororities have different viewpoint, but the policy about neutral point of view is that regardless all viewpoints must be provided, not just Delta's view or AKA's view. The group of seven could have been expanded to twenty-two. I am going by both DST and AKA history books as a part of NPOV. If you have a problem with AKA's point, contact the e-mail address provided to Mrs. McNealy. I have changed this due to the presentation of the AKA's centennial website. Second, in addition to being disruptive, you are lacking good faith, because when making changes, I don't have to make a note on the discussion page. That's a part of being bold. However, I did that as a courtesy of others as well to you, because I thought you were improving the article since you are a member of the organization, but now you are just critiquing my edits which is a part of being disruptive and can get you blocked. Can you please re-read the welcome message on your page in order to be acquainted with Wikipedia's core policies. I am about to leave a note on the AKA page as well as the DST page. And, please read my first response to you. Thank you. Miranda 03:30, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
Hello Miranda. HistoricDST filed a request for assistance at Editor's Assistance, ostensibly regarding this disagreement. I believe that may have been what he meant by contacting an admin. A basic response to his query is at EA.
Have a nice day,
The Rhymesmith 04:35, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
Thanks a lot, because I was confused for a moment. You also have a good day. Miranda 04:47, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

Miranda I have made a decision. You can change anthing on the DST page that you want. Change it to seven members, twenty-two members or ten thousand members. I no longer care. I am deleting my account and will no longer post here. So you have a nice day. HistoricDST 05:12, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

I can't change anything or make up anything for the DST page because of the verification clause. You are welcome to create a new account. I think we both got on a bad start. It is very crucial to read the welcome message in order to be familiar with how Wikipedia works. Cheers. Miranda 13:18, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

Action taken

Alright, alright. Lets both calm down, I'll add a thread to ANI so people can discuss this. Regards, — Rlest (formerly Qst) 16:03, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

I archived your message because you were harrassing me, and I warned you many times to stop doing so. I don't think that one should be necessary because you were on the brink of violating WP:3RR. You are welcome to make an WP:ANI thread (which will be unnecessary), but this will be shot down or redirected to request for comment. Miranda 16:12, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
(Friendly message) Looking at the page history for here you too were on the break of violating 3RR so please... check your facts before jumping in to downgrade people. — Rlest (formerly Qst) 16:27, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Shapedtopurpose.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Shapedtopurpose.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. After Midnight 0001 18:59, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for the vandalism fix

Thanks for fixing it. I went to place a suspected sockpuppet notice on the anon's user page, then I got there and realized you had the same suspicions I did.

I went ahead and posted it on WP:SSP, if you're interested. Kurt Weber 15:39, 28 July 2007 (UTC)

Yes, I am drafting a proposal to ban this user at User:Miranda/CB. Feel free to add evidence. Miranda 15:41, 28 July 2007 (UTC)

Apologies (Copied from User talk:Rlest)

Miranda, my account has understandably not be unblocked so I have asked administrators to post this message. I would like to apologise for my insulting of you under this account, I have calmed down and although we dont get along, I think it would be best if you and me in a kind way keep our distances, I would also like to tell you that the IP address in which you tagged as a sockpuppet of Qst (me) is not true, it was banned user Molag Bal causing trouble for me as he did throughout that mess as Qst. Anyway I ask you to find it in your heart to forgive me and remove that tag as I know you thought it was me I can assure you it wasn't. I hope you accept my apologies and if you want to remove this message; you may. Rlest 17:03, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

User:Miranda/CB

Are you serious? You know this page serves no purpose other than to create more drama for an already over dramatized situation. There's absolutely no reason for this to be in your userspace. If you insist on taking this route, at least keep the drama off-wiki and save it as a text file on your computer. I seriously suggest requesting deletion of this before it gets gets deleted by someone else. -- John Reaves 20:54, 28 July 2007 (UTC)

Rock Of Love

I did not vandalize Rock of Love. I am a member of Wikipedia already but am not logged on. I have been with Wikipedia since June 2006. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.65.180.185 (talkcontribs)

You did change the call out order without giving a valid summary. This can be considered vandalism. Miranda 05:00, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

I had changed it when it was re-airing and I noticed it was incorrect. Thats why. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.65.180.185 (talkcontribs)

Okay, I blanked your warning. Next time please provide an edit summary so that people know what you are doing, since this article has a high capability of being vandalized. Also, please sign your posts with ~~~~ (four tildes). Thanks. Miranda 21:50, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

Thank you! :)

Thank you for your beautiful words and warm wishes on my birthday, dear friend! I took a well-deserved one-day wikibreak and spent it with my family and my friends... and actually had a beer after months of forced abstinence! :) Of course, there's no way I'd forget about you, so I saved a great, tasty piece of chocolate cake just for you - but sorry, no beer left! Again, thank you so much for taking the time to wish me well, and have a wonderful day, dear Miranda! Love, Phaedriel - 05:34, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

It's wonderful to see your beautiful userpage up again, my friend... I was feeling a little worried about you. You know just where to find me if you need me, right? (and thanks for bringing the disco ball! ;) Be happy today! xxx, Sharon
