Hello, Micky.rodeh. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the COI guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you.
Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. A page you recently created, Alona Rodeh, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new pages, so it has been moved to Draft:Alona Rodeh where you can continue to work on it. Please consider using the Article Wizard or the Articles for Creation procedure. For more information about creating articles, you may want to read "Your first article". You may also want to read our introduction page to learn more about contributing. Thank you. MER-C 15:13, 27 July 2019 (UTC)
COI disclosure
editHi, MER-C. Thank you very much for helping! This is my first Wikipedia submission, so I am indeed a novice. Alona Rodeh is my daughter. She is a reasonably known artist (e.g., she is listed in WikiProject Women in Red)—as a simple Google search can show—but does not have a Wikipedia article, which is a pity.
I have been working with a handful of artists/art reporters (they provided most of the text; I did most of the mechanical work) to prepare a draft article for her. Following your advice, I declared COI on my user page using the template UserboxCOI. I also filled in the Connected contributor template. I hope that I did that correctly.
What is the next step?
Thanks again, Micky (FYI, here is my Linkedin entry).

A major revision in response to User:MurielMary comments
editUser:MurielMary's well-taken comment has to do with significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject. I believe that the new version does just this: Publications in some of the most popular art web sites, exhibitions in Europe, Israel, and Canada, and more. By the way, in 2015 Rodeh was listed among The 50 Most Exciting Artists in Europe Today; only one other Israeli artist won this recognition.
