Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Envivio. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. In addition, your edits appear to be on the promotional side. One more thing: please use edit summaries to explain what you're doing. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 04:19, 28 August 2014 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add soapboxing, promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, as you did at Envivio, you may be blocked from editing. Drmies (talk) 04:44, 28 August 2014 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you use Wikipedia for soapboxing, promotion or advertising, as you did at Envivio. Bbb23 (talk) 05:14, 28 August 2014 (UTC)
Your recent edits
editHello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 05:21, 28 August 2014 (UTC)

Names, and refs, etc.
editHi: You should click on some links, it will answer some of your questions. We use the common name in English for places - Castilla is Castile in English, but León remains León. See Castile and León - and that's where the Spanish is given, which is the right place for it. We also have a nice article already on University of Salamanca, and you'll find it covered in the Salamanca article - a better place for it than the article on the province. The thing is, since we are an online encyclopedia, we don't have to explain everything on every page - links take the reader to other pages where they can find more information.
In the same way, we have a policy that everything we write must be verifiable, and we supply references so the reader can check - and learn more. That's why it doesn't matter that the statement about the university that you added was true - the questions are (a) is it verifiable (you should provide a source for almost every addition to an article) and (b) is it appropriate in that article. Have a look at the template at the top of this page with links to our policies and guidelines; it's a huge project and not a kind of writing many people are used to doing, so it takes some getting used to, but it makes more sense when you are aware of some of the rules and traditions. - It goes by the common name of the place in English-language texts. See this policy page, under "Places", with the example of The Hague - a Dutchman would feel that is strange, but that's what we call it in English. We call Castilla Castile, but we call San Juan de Puerto Rico San Juan and León León. Some of them we have gone back to the original: Marseille is usually Marseille in English now, whereas it used to be Marseilles with an /s/, and Livorno is no longer called Leghorn. There's not much rhyme or reason to it, but as an encyclopedia, we reflect and report what other writers say (and we always give the native name at the start of the article). editYour recent editing history at Envivio shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion
editHello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Thank you.--Bbb23 (talk) 03:30, 29 August 2014 (UTC)
{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
The complete report is at WP:AN3#User:Marcalsig reported by User:Bbb23 (Result: Blocked). EdJohnston (talk) 04:31, 29 August 2014 (UTC)
