 Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Happy editing! Cheers, 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 13:44, 25 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello Timtrent. First of all i thank you for the guidance on this article. Her family name is Babalanda....i will also remove the hnorifics. The photo used is not my work and i apologize for the mistake. i hope changing ownership to credit the creator resolves that. I will also remove that paragraph (list of stuff). Managing a conflict of interest

edit

Hello, Marc1705. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicizing, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 13:44, 25 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

I now understand there is no COI, certainly over the photograph in Draft:Joan Peace Babalanda currently. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 23:44, 25 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

edit

A file that you uploaded or altered, File:Joan Peace Babalanda.JPG, has been listed at Wikipedia:Files for discussion. Please see the discussion to see why it has been listed (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry). Feel free to add your opinion on the matter below the nomination. Thank you. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 07:51, 27 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

I'm disappointed that you have uploaded this picture here after its deletion on Commons. All you had to do on commons, and all you have to do here is to provide proof that you have the right to upload it to the volunteer response team. You have even concealed the source of the picture (declared on Commons, albeit imperfectly) here.
Please be open and straightforward in your actions here.
You either have the right to upload this picture or you do not. The statement on the draft about the source is wholly insufficient. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 08:25, 27 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
