Choke (sports)

edit

Referring to my actions as "vandalism", as you did here, is entirely out of line. Wikipedia depends upon the verifiability of information within it, which is codified in policy at Wikipedia:Verifiability. You had previously added this information (seen here) without providing a reliable, secondary source to support it. Quoting the verifiability policy, "Any material that needs a source but does not have one may be removed.". The information you added in that diff was removed according to policy. In no respect was it vandalism, for which we have a policy at Wikipedia:Vandalism. I strongly encourage you to avail yourself of the opportunity to learn these policies, their meaning, and application. You are new to Wikipedia. That's no crime. We were all new once. However, if you continue to go about the project accusing people of vandalism without foundation, things will not go well for you. You should also be aware that Choke (sports)#Examples of choking in sports is intended to show a few examples. It is not a catalogue of every choke that ever happened in sports. If you have questions about any of this, please let me know. I'll be happy to help. Thanks, --Hammersoft (talk) 16:47, 22 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

I'll quit Wikipedia. --ManuelNeuerFan1 (talk) 23:51, 23 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

So your response to asking you to follow policy here is to quite the project? What? --Hammersoft (talk) 00:24, 24 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

That's what you asked me for. It's an order, I'll obey --ManuelNeuerFan1 (talk) 01:23, 24 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
I didn't ask you to leave the project. I strongly suggested you read up on the appropriate policies. --Hammersoft (talk) 02:06, 24 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
I added a citation, it shall be fine now. --ManuelNeuerFan1 (talk) 20:24, 25 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
