Oddly enough, just before I checked my watch list and saw your question, I was cropping an image myself. Here are the examples if it helps.

Regarding citing a organization

edit

Hi,
Maine12329, Thank you for your welcome note on my talk page ntu129. I wanted to cite some information regarding an organization about which there are only news articles and there is no other information. How is possible to cite information about such organization ?

Ntu129 (talk) 07:07, 1 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi Ntu129! I see you left a question on the help desk too. The short answer is that offline sources are perfectly allowed, but they need to be verifiable. Is the newspaper a notable one, and does it really not have an online version? Is the news in English? Look at Wikipedia:Citing sources or Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners.
Looking at this edit, I have a few comments. Please also note that you cannot simply copy and paste what is written in the news article. They must be reworded or it will be plagiarism of copyrighted content (some may be in quotation marks if needed ""). Lastly, I would avoid writing a section on legislation as it often isn't in layman terms unless you actually have a deep understanding of the legislation and able to rewrite it in prose and not a list; and do not write in all capital letters.⊾maine12329⊿ talkswiki 07:47, 1 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
Ah. I'm also not that familiar with articles that have to do with India. Wikipedia:WikiProject India may be helpful to you! ⊾maine12329⊿ talkswiki 07:52, 1 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited The Voice (U.S. TV series) discography, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Believe, The Climb and Big Girls Don't Cry. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
