Fixed!. There's an image size problem that has affected certain templates on WP in the past, it shows up from time to time, so congratulations on finding it - alas, there is no prize for finding it ;-) I've altered the code in the template so that the problem won't occur on this template again. - X201 (talk) 08:44, 27 August 2008 (UTC)
- Lwangaman, thanks for continuing the work on La Civiltà Cattolica, cheers, Myrtle. Myrtlegroggins (talk) 07:05, 11 May 2012 (UTC)
- I see you did a lot of cleanup work on it, and you got it a little more logically ordered, so thank you. But it looks like it could be undergoing some POV edits by other users. This one will need some patience to keep straight... --Lwangaman (talk) 16:14, 11 May 2012 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for File:Ihslgoldblueogo.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:Ihslgoldblueogo.jpg. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.
Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 15:18, 4 May 2009 (UTC)
- Has been taken care of and tag has been removed. Lwangaman (talk) 15:44, 4 May 2009 (UTC)
LivingBot
editWikibot.php should work in other wikis as long as they utilise the MediaWiki API. My advice would be to try it and see. Specify "http://foo.com/w/" instead of a language when initialising the bot. - Jarry1250 (t, c) 16:00, 14 May 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for the quick answer! I'll give it a try and let you know. Lwangaman (talk) 16:02, 14 May 2009 (UTC)

Bishop Alfred_Seiwert-Fleige
editHello, you are a member of the Wikiproject Catholicism. We would appreciate your help. Please take a look at this article about the catholic bishop Alfred_Seiwert-Fleige . Users deleted sources and tried to force their anti-catholic POV on it. They banned many people that tried to add sources. They didnt block me or Eastmain, but they deleted our sources we gave too. It appears that they don't like this catholic bishop.
Best version until now with 13 sources: http://en.wiki.x.io/w/index.php?title=Alfred_Seiwert-Fleige&diff=343039227&oldid=343037941
And after deleting the sources: http://en.wiki.x.io/w/index.php?title=Alfred_Seiwert-Fleige&action=historysubmit&diff=343481960&oldid=343039227
(At first they had planned on deleting the whole article but it didnt work)
Check out at the information on these other wikipedia articles about Seiwert Fleige and compare them to the info that is on there now. You will notice that its quite the oposite:
Thank you --Michelle cannon (talk) 22:31, 16 February 2010 (UTC)

May 2012
editIn a recent edit to the page Basilica, you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.
For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, or New Zealand, use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the original author used.
In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk. Thank you. Elizium23 (talk) 20:30, 10 May 2012 (UTC)
- If you are referring to the punctuation (or non punctuation) of contractions, thank you for pointing that out because I had no knowledge of that. Having studied my grammar in America, I didn't realize that British English had different rules. Your point is further confirmed by this article Abbreviation#Periods_.28full_stops.29_and_spaces. I stand corrected! --Lwangaman (talk) 23:43, 10 May 2012 (UTC)
- You're welcome! Thanks for your concern for the article and your politeness to me. Sorry if the template was a little impersonal, but I feel it is the most neutral way to communicate in most common circumstances. Elizium23 (talk) 23:44, 10 May 2012 (UTC)
Translation of 95 year old philosophy.
editGreetings,
I am trying to get a team together who would finally translate "Sistema di logica come teoria del conoscere" into English. I thought Wikipedia's list of Italian-to-English translators might be a good group to 'hit up' on this subject. If personal assistance cannot be provided, perhaps suggestions or helping point me in the right direction of who might be willing to help? Best regards & thank you. OpenOffice.org
editThanks for your participation! You will want to review Talk:OpenOffice.org and its archives before continuing to revert, as the changes you made have been discussed at length and the present solution is a separate article. This may change, but you will need to achieve consensus first. Continued revert-warring without due discussion may be considered problematic and should be avoided - David Gerard (talk) 22:01, 14 September 2015 (UTC)
- Hi David, I believe you are the one that is reverting edits, not me. I only reverted your unfounded revert to my own edits! Please view https://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Wikipedia:Three_revert_rule_enforcement and https://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Wikipedia:Edit_warring . If you revert a third time you may be subject to this rule! All of my edits are founded with cites to the official sources, there is no reason to revert. And while a split page for the Apache OpenOffice Project has been discussed, this still does not mean that it is NOT the continuation of the OpenOffice.org project! A separate page may be acceptable, but this does not mean that the infobox need reflect incorrect information! And yes it has been discussed on the page and many users have indicated that you are perpetrating POV! Lwangaman (talk) 22:08, 14 September 2015 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Catholic-Hierarchy.org
editHello. I noticed that you have edited a number of articles on Catholicism. A discussion is taking place as to whether the website Catholic-Hierarchy.org is a reliable source that can be utilized on Wikipedia or whether all references and information derived from it should be deleted. This topic is currently being discussed at the Reliable Sources Noticeboard [2]. As the website's removal as a reference will affect several thousand Wikipedia articles, I believe that the broadest range of opinions should be obtained before action is taken. Please contribute if interested.Patapsco913 (talk) 22:07, 3 February 2016 (UTC)
