I am trying to figure out how to cross reference catagories of articles. For example on the Videogames project home page, http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Video_games It has a table of articles that need work. You can click on the link to see all the subs, or all the high priority articles. But I can't figure out how to just view all the high priority stubs for example. This makes it difficult for me to see what high priority stubs (or top priority starts or whatever) there are that I might be able to help on. Lot49a (talk) 22:32, 17 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

The easiest way would be to do it manually, but you dont have to only edit stubs, you could expand good articles to bring them up to featured article status.
Also if you would like to link to something, use [[wikilinks]] like Main Page. LegoKontribsTalkM 23:26, 17 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
Hi, thanks for coming by to help. I'm not sure that I understand your answer however. If I go to http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Category:High-priority_video_game_articles I can see all of the high priority game articles but from there I'm not sure how to subdivide those into which are stubs, which are starts, etc. You say I should do it manually, but I'm not sure what you mean. Do you mean going through them one by one? That seems really inefficient to me, is it really the best way? I ask because if I decide I'm in the mood to fill out a stub (instead of say trying to edit a Good Article up to FA quality) there are 12405 to choose from! That's an overwhelming list.
Maybe I'm not understanding you correctly? What is meant by doing it manually? Lot49a (talk) 10:32, 18 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

No problem. In future, try the editor's index: it has all this kind of stuff. Algebraist 11:09, 18 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
