Hello, I'm Helper202. I noticed that you recently removed content from Per Savio without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Hi @Logjohn: How goes it| What is actually happening here? It wasn't clear from your edit summary. I reverted the last time because you had linked to a redirect. Redirect are for users, not for linking to. You link only to the article. I thought the link was ok. Am I missing something. scope_creepTalk 21:13, 7 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for pointing that out. I removed the link altogether. In hindsight I realise that perhaps the whole mentioning of the Machtubergriff is unnecessary, as its not as well-known and used in the English-speaking world, as it is in Europe.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Julius Martov, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Halle. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:22, 27 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Sergei Ždanov

edit

I moved the sailor back to Sergei Ždanov for a couple of reasons. First the single source spelt his name that way and gave Sergei Zdanov as an alternate. Secondly, the single source was not sufficient to establish notability, it was just a listing, and so I redirected him to Sailing at the 1980 Summer Olympics – 470. If sources can be found to establish notability then his article can be restored. I then moved the footballer back to the undisabiguated title. At the same time I redirected all the people on the Sailing at the 1980 Summer Olympics – 470 article who finished below fourth as they also lacked evidence of notability. Cheers. CambridgeBayWeather, Uqaqtuq (talk), Huliva 07:53, 18 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

The single English language source you refer to does not follow English translitteration standard from cyrillic Russian. I did look for a Russian language source for Сергей Жданов, but in general ruwp only, or at least mainly, list Olympic Medalists. You decision to revert back to an incorrect name form is highly illogical, Jim (as Spock would say on Star Trek). Logjohn (talk) 20:20, 18 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
It doesn't really matter at this point as Sergei Ždanov is a redirect to Sailing at the 1980 Summer Olympics – 470 and Sergei Zhdanov has a hatnote telling readers to look at Sailing at the 1980 Summer Olympics – 470 for the sailor. No matter how the name is spelt people will get there. CambridgeBayWeather, Uqaqtuq (talk), Huliva 02:32, 19 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm TylerBurden. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Yung Lean, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! TylerBurden (talk) 23:46, 23 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Just thought it was on general interest, unlike his 'work career' at McDonalds, and uncontroversial since his family relations are generally known, and mentioned elsewhere in related atricles here on enwp. But you keep up the good work here I'm sure! Logjohn (talk) 07:02, 23 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
The sky being blue is common knowledge, who Yung Lean's grandparent is, not so much. Wikipedia is based on verifiability. TylerBurden (talk) 18:22, 25 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
Dear "Sir Knight of Knowlegde", the sky isn't blue, we only percieve it as such. What a horrible and misleading example to use by a "mr authority on wikipedia things"... Logjohn (talk) 11:30, 26 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
You're not exactly helping yourself by violating WP:CIVIL on top of the WP:BLP violation. TylerBurden (talk) 20:01, 28 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
