Hi,

when you copy and paste a page to another location, the history is not preserved. This is no big deal when you're the only contributor, but for pages written by several people, it is problematic because it makes it look like the entirely page was written by the person pasting the text. But even if you are moving a page you have written, you may want to preserve its history for your own reference.

To do so, use the "Move page" function which is at the bottom and on the sidebar. —Eloquence 17:27, 29 Jul 2003 (UTC)
