Law schools in France

Hello, I tried to make some sense of the Law schools in France page you created, but I'm finding it hard to understand what defines the institutions mentioned on Law schools, colleges and academies in France, and in which way they differ from an ordinary faculty of law. I can neither find an equivalent page on French Wikipedia. Ideally that information should be added to the page, so that readers could understand which is which.

Would it be possible to give some additional clarification? In particular, are the écoles de droit part of a university, which degree do they award and where do they sit in the educational cycle (bachelor-master), and does that mean there are universities which have both a faculty and an école de droit? Thank you! Which information? Faculty of Law is for all students, Law schools are only for a small part of those students, the best ones. But it is an additional diploma: all the law school’s students are also the faculty of law students, they have to succeed each year in both diploma with a specific minimum grade (which is decided by each university) to be admitted in the next year of the law school. The rules differ a lot from university to university, but the common ground is the selection of top students for additional seminars to obtain a degree of prestige. For your questions: yes, an ad hoc law degree (from the whole university), it depends (it is written on the L'étudiant link), yes (and the law school is managed by the faculty of law if it exists - for Panthéon-Assas, the whole university is mainly about law, since it is the successor of the Sorbonne faculty of law, so there is no "faculty of law" inside the "university").--Launebee (talk) 10:15, 28 February 2016 (UTC)

Ok thanks. The L'Etudiant link did clarify things. It's unfortunately one of these typical French situations which is virtually impossible to explain to anyone outside France. Please abandon this feud

Your latest attempts at WP:AN/I to silence XIIIfromTOKYO are in my opinion disruptive.

You say XIIIfromTokyo is now hunting me down on Andrewa talk page, making up warnings I never received and cite this edit. However when I challenged them on this this error they acknowledged it saying True. My bad. There was no need for you to raise this one error at all at AN/I, let alone to make it sound as if it was a repeated and deliberate ploy.

You continue and bringing back old disputes by saying that Andrewa asked him to do so and citing this edit. He was quite right, I had asked both of you for comments on my talk page. You answered my question there evasively. They provided one of the diffs I was after. Exactly what do you find wrong with that?

It appears to me that you have gained some false confidence from the warning that XIIIfromTOKYO rightly received. That does not entitle you to continue with your own disruption.

So please regard this as a warning too. If either of you continue this feud, they are in danger of further sanctions. Thank you. Andrewa (talk) 01:50, 17 October 2017 (UTC)

I was not bringing back old dispute as you say, since all three diffs I provided were new. And the ANI was closed, not because there was no new attack toward me, but because the majority wanted to let the other user some time to calm down.
