Northern MN photos
editHappy New Year. Thank you for uploading photos of northernmost Minnesota. We don't have many photographers up there. Would you by change be able to get photos of the Roseau County Courthouse and Lodge Boleslav Jablonsky No. 219? Jonathunder (talk) 20:52, 4 January 2019 (UTC)
- Happy New Year to you! Glad to contribute. I don't live up that way but travel here and there to Northern Minnesota areas. I'll put those two buildings on my list. If you happen to know of other northern places that could use a photograph, let me know! If I have a list of locations, I can make an effort to get photos if I happen to be up that way! Lashaull (talk) 18:30, 5 January 2019 (UTC)
- Here are a few more: the Minnesota and International Railway Trestle at Blackduck and Debs Consolidated School in Beltrami County, LaSalle Apartments in Virginia, and the Mike and Mary Matson Farmstead near Embarrass. Hope to see you Saturday. I like your photos of Minnesota people, too. Jonathunder (talk) 21:26, 15 January 2019 (UTC)
- Apologies for not getting there! I got busy that day but thanks for the additional locations!! I'll put them on a list if I get up that way again.--Lashaull (talk) 15:21, 28 January 2019 (UTC)
Image alignments with text
editJust an FYI, but please read MOS:IMAGELOCATION. Your left-aligned image in this edit on National Women's Hockey League causes the section headers and text to break, become narrow and in the center, or oddly zigzag in one paragraph down the page depending on the screen. There is not enough text to keep it from moving the "Isobel Cup championship" section off its own left-alignment. That is why, typically, any images should be used in their right-aligned default setting. Thank you, Yosemiter (talk) 14:56, 24 March 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks much. Will do!Lashaull (talk) 20:17, 1 April 2019 (UTC)
WNBA rosters
editHi. I wonder if you can weigh in on this proposal. Recent discussion started here. Thank you either way. -SusanLesch (talk) 20:48, 1 May 2019 (UTC)
Fowles
editHi, Lorie. Just this one pic I wonder about. I thought she looked beautiful and fierce in mine, plus you get some idea of how big she is. Yours is undoubtedly technically superior! Maybe you went on Camp Day and got a new photo with long braids. Anyway we'll see, a lot of the season left. Thanks for the dozens of other improvements you've made in the past week or so. Your license is so very helpful. -SusanLesch (talk) 14:02, 25 July 2019 (UTC)
- Hi Susan, I updated because I always prefer a sharper image! That being said, I'll work on trying to get a good one of her with braids. And yes, plenty of time still left! This season I've been making an effort to get photos for use on player pages. I'm glad I can help contribute and add onto all efforts you've made over the years! Lashaull (talk) 14:31, 25 July 2019 (UTC)
- One we need is a sharp pic of Sue Bird. We have different perspectives on some things, but you have a press pass and can get close. I saw a good photo of yours in MinnPost. Congratulations!! -SusanLesch (talk) 15:07, 25 July 2019 (UTC)
- Will be on the lookout for Sue Bird photos if she's back this year. I have one from last year that's a little bit sharper but I don't feel strongly about whether it should be swapped in [1]
- Yes, that is nice. She might be back this year except I guess not in Minneapolis. Something to look forward to next year. -SusanLesch (talk) 01:09, 26 July 2019 (UTC)

Impression
editHi, Lorie. Thank you! Your skill can raise the level of photography for the WNBA (and beyond) on Wikipedia. In particular, I love your full length photo of Courtney Vandersloot. You've made her look just like she plays! I wonder if you can accept an idea from this observer. Expand your horizons beyond the free throw line. We only need to see so many armpits and zits. And I drew the line at Maya Moore. Hope you will understand. The "sharpest image" isn't always the best. Stand back and find the lyricism and poetry in these women's work. Thank you very much for your contributions. -SusanLesch (talk) 14:56, 17 August 2019 (UTC)
Recognition

For Lorie in recognition of her photos making the WNBA real on Wikipedia. Well done! -SusanLesch (talk) 15:02, 17 August 2019 (UTC) |
- SusanLesch a long overdue thank you for this! I really appreciate it very much. It's rewarding to have my photography contributions recognized here and this reminds me that I'd like to set up my user page and include it there. I got busy at the end of the season and may still have a couple photos to add to player pages. Lashaull (talk) 16:28, 5 October 2019 (UTC)
Minneapolis RfCs
editYour input at 1, 2, or 3 would be welcome. -SusanLesch (talk) 17:31, 30 December 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks for including me in this, appreciate it very much. I spent some time reading through the discussions on each and don't feel I have the bandwidth to jump in without additional time spent understanding the content on this type of page along with understanding guidelines and styles. I have some initial opinions but I'm not able to ground them with the additional research it would take to be helpful to the discussion. All that said, it's still been an excellent opportunity for me to get a bit more familiar with the content on this page. Happy New Year to you and thanks for all the hard work you put into Wikipedia! Lashaull (talk) 15:19, 1 January 2020 (UTC)
- OK, thank you. Happy New Year! -SusanLesch (talk) 15:41, 3 January 2020 (UTC)
Walt Hopkins
editIn case you have a photo of Walt Hopkins, his article is in the process of being undeleted at Draft:Walt Hopkins. -SusanLesch (talk) 22:01, 6 January 2020 (UTC)
- It looks like I only have one that's somewhat blurry and doesn't do him justice. He's on my list, along with some other coaching staff, for this season. Thank you for creating his page! Lashaull (talk) 15:28, 9 January 2020 (UTC)

Request to unblock
editLashaull (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
Caught by a colocation web host block but this host or IP is not a web host. My IP address is 192.80.181.151. We recently had our router replaced by the company who provides our internet service. Possibly this is the reason my IP was blocked. Most of my Wikipedia contributions are additions of my own photographs to pages (often small towns) that don't have a photo. Thank you for considering my request. Lashaull (talk) 21:55, 13 July 2023 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Procedural decline since you aren't directly blocked, so there's no block to lift, and you can edit from other IP addresses. Lifting the rangeblock you're behind would be ... difficult, to say the least, so the better option is to go to WP:IPECPROXY and follow those instructions to request IP block exemption by email. — Daniel Case (talk) 06:32, 14 July 2023 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
