DYK for Kontorhaus District

edit

On 3 September 2019, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Kontorhaus District, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that a cholera outbreak was ultimately responsible for the development of Hamburg's Kontorhaus District (building pictured)? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Kontorhaus District. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Kontorhaus District), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

German places and people

Thank you for quality articles about Germany such as Kontorhaus District, Pott (rum), Hans Wagner (sculptor) and Kurt Blaukopf, for Paula Gans, for gnomish work such as updating mayors after an election and fixing links, - you are an awesome Wikipedian!

You are recipient no. 2270 of Precious, a prize of QAI. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:27, 3 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Congrats to the stats! I added it, and trust that next time you can do it yourself. It's also featured on Portal:Germany. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:35, 4 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Autopatrolled granted

edit

Hi Kvaloya, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the "autopatrolled" permission to your account, as you have created numerous, valid articles. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. For more information on the autopatrolled right, see Wikipedia:Autopatrolled. However, you should consider adding relevant wikiproject talk-page templates, stub-tags and categories to new articles that you create if you aren't already in the habit of doing so, since your articles will no longer be systematically checked by other editors (User:Evad37/rater and User:SD0001/StubSorter.js are useful scripts which can help). Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! Beeblebrox (talk) 23:50, 9 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Beeblebrox, I've rescinded this permission due to concerns about promotional content in the recently created article About You (company). signed, Rosguill talk 02:16, 20 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
