Disambiguation link notification for January 23
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Rocket Records page issues:
editKrystaleen, please go to my Talk page and get involved in this dispute. You seem to be very fair and level-headed from your previous communication with my colleagues Warren and Frank regarding the Backstreet Boys page and Rocket Records page edits that they did the other day, which you Undid, but was understandable. Frank was wrongly blocked by "I am One of Many" the other day over false claims of vandalism and spam on the part of I am One of Many. I personally feel that "I am One of Many" is abusing his administrative power for reasons unknown, and I am asking you to get involved since you were partially involved with this the other day from the View History record of the Rocket Records page. I am kindly asking for your help because "I am One of Many" is not acting in good faith or following official Wikipedia guidelines at all, and is indeed both harming and slandering honest Wikipedia contributors like Frank, Warren, and myself. Please visit my Talk page, and I hope to get a quick response from you. Thank you.
Eric Gregson (talk) 05:41, 2 March 2013 (UTC)Eric D. Gregson
- I have posted two responses on your talk page on both of these issues.--Krystaleen 12:56, 2 March 2013 (UTC)
Backstreet Boys & Tim Coons:
editKrystaleen, here is the proof you need that Tim Coons is indeed the originial music producer of the Backstreet Boys. Please click on this link: http://www.rocketrecords.com/tim-coons.html
I am not an advertising, promotion, or person associaited with the Rocket Records group. I am a music journalist & blogger that documents real occurences within the music industry. Please Undo Warren Lasky's edits from the other day if possible, because they are fully accurate as you can clearly see on that link. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Eric Gregson (talk • contribs) 06:58, 2 March 2013 (UTC)
Tim Coons (music producer) - notability subject
editKrystaleen, my research, sourcing, and professional knowledge shows me that Tim Coons is more than worthy enough to be mentioned in all three articles. Coons continually works with the Backstreet Boys, having produced most of Howie Dorough's latest solo album less than one year ago, he was given an RIAA certified producing Platinum credit on the Backstreet Boys first major album release (Backstreet Boys/1995/Europe), and both Howie Dorough and Kevin Richardson are on public record attesting to the impact that Coons had and still has on their careers. Jo Jo also credited Coons publicly with being the driving production force behind her career. Coons is both an accomplished producer, and the original vocal coach of the group that Lou Pearlman gave the resposnsibility to teach how to sing as a group. It does not get more important than that, as Dorough and Richardson have both stated publicly. I will add more sourcing if you would like, but that MUST be added in order to properly document the Wikipedia pages for the Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, and Jo Jo (although I see that Jo Jo's Wikipedia page has been locked for years).
Wikipedia is meant to be an ACCURATE, factual, and informative encyclopedic documentation of pertinent information that meets certain notability standards. Tim Coons easily meets these standards, and therefore MUST be included in the Wikipedia pages for these major music acts due to the influence and continual contribtions that he has to their career, as even stated publicly by the acts themselves. I interviewed Howie Dorough before their 2011 KKOTBSB show here in Orlando, and he made mention of Coons several times. Dorough and Nick Carter even took private pictures with Coons before and after that particular show which they later posted online as you can easily find with a very quick web search. Coons has also been nominated for 2 Grammy Awards, which adds the greatest form of professional achievement that one can get inside of the music industry (besides winning). As an unbiased music journalist, it is both my job and responsibility to report responsibly and contribute to Wikipedia with factual information that has high notability. That is what the general public both expects and deserves from all journalists. In this case, Tim Coons more than meets the proper notability standards for inclusion in Wikipedia. Do you still object to his inclusion in these Wikipedia pages?
- Eric, you do not need to write a novel each time that you want to make your point(s)! You need to learn how to write in less words! Seriously eric, you must learn to be brief! Please "chill out" a bit from now on eric. Thanks!
- I did a brief google search and eric is absolutely right krystaleen. Not only is coons incredibly well-known, but it seems as if he has done some work with sir paul mccartney recently. That is beyond newsworthy in the music world! I also found many recent pics on google images with coons and the backstreet boys, as well as other famous musicians such as britney spears, jojo, otown, nsync, and the like. I found many articles about coons accomplished work as well.
- Coons should def be included on the backstreet boys wikipedia page without question! Eric, go ahead and make the changes to include coons, and if you have any trouble doing so I will help you. If anybody unjustly tries to Undo your changes or tries have you blocked from making edits, I will personally report them and have them blocked for abusing wikipedia, including you krystaleen (with all due respect)!
- It seems as if many of your comments are opinion-based krystaleen, while eric is stating and backing up his words with hard facts. I used to be a wikipedia administrator myself before giving it up due to time contraints.
- I hope this helps both of you eric and krystaleen. Remember to play nice! MusicLoverShawn (talk) 08:13, 3 March 2013 (UTC)
- I copied and pasted these comments from eric's talk page onto your's krystaleen, in case you do not go back there for a while. MusicLoverShawn (talk) 08:50, 3 March 2013 (UTC)
Backstreet's Back & Backstreet Boys WW Sales
editHi Krystaleen, since you are one of the editors that have dedicated more time on the BB articles. I would like to know your opinion about the recent edits. As for Backstreet's Back, 28 million is too much for an album that wasn't released in the USA, don't you think? So maybe if we combine the sections, it will be more appropiate. --Watquaza (talk) 00:48, 3 March 2013 (UTC)
- I'm pretty sure yes 28 million is a combined sales, therefore I think we should just remove the line altogether, or find a source that mentions 14 million sales since that's the actual worldwide sales of Backstreet's Back, the other 14 million being the US version of Backstreet Boys. I don't think we should combine that sales at all since they're two different albums with two different track listing.--Krystaleen 10:36, 3 March 2013 (UTC)

editKrystaleen, please join our discussion on this particular talk page as soon as you can. Your input is both welcomed and valued as a music contributor. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.68.182.115 (talk) 04:49, 3 March 2013 (UTC)
Undoing positive contributions - facts over opinions!
editKrystaleen, please do not let your own personal opinions get in the way of easily searchable facts, especially when Undoing legitimate contributions to various wikipedia music-based pages. I am specifically referring to your recent actions regarding the backstreet boys and nsync wikipedia pages, as well as some others in the past. You also recently reverted the wikipedia boyband page with the reasoning "I don't think boyzone was ever that big" or something to that effect.
Remember, that is your opinion krystaleen, not a fact! I received some complaints from other music contributors about this! I Undid your revision, and I do not even have any vested interest in that particular page at all other than rightfully stating that helpful contributions are not to be Undone because of your own personal opinion(s) krystaleen!
As for the other changes a few days back, eric was not responsible for those changes, another party was, but those changes to the backstreet boys and nsync pages regarding tim coons were still accurate nonetheless. A quick google search would have allowed you to recognize that fact. Please remember, fact(s), not your own personal opinion(s)!
Please keep in mind that fact-based wikipedia contributions should not be quickly Undone because of one's own opinions or doubts. For future reference, please do not get "trigger happy" and continually Undo legitimate changes that have been well-referenced, or at the very least can be easily verified with a quick online search. Start a discussion instead before Undoing legitimate contributions.
- Please note - I have politely but forcefully informed eric that he needs to be much briefer with his words from now on, and to not write so much on your talk page as well as on other talk pages. I think he understands that now. As a former wikipedia administrator, I welcome productive discussion amongst the music community here on wikipedia. Just please stick to the facts over opinions. Thanks! MusicLoverShawn (talk) 09:11, 3 March 2013 (UTC)
- It is actually a fact. Boyzone was never that big, they're not in the top ten of best selling boy bands.--Krystaleen 11:16, 3 March 2013 (UTC)
We need qualified contributors for WikiProject Record Label. There are many record labels which must be properly updated and added. Please feel free to contribute and pass along the word to other qualified music contributors! MusicLoverShawn (talk) 11:14, 3 March 2013 (UTC)
Rocket Records page resolution complete - please read!
editKrystaleen, please go the Rocket Records talk page as soon as you are able to and read what I have written at the bottom of the page. I'm hoping that this issue is now finally resolved. I would greatly appreciate you commenting on it. I went ahead and formally completed the process for eric gregson because eric honestly did not know how to follow the proper page moving procedures. Anyway, please go to that page and comment so we can finalize this process once and for all. Thank you!
P.S. - The existing article about the "old Rocket Records" (The Rocket Record Company) has been officially moved to this Wikipedia page: http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/The_Rocket_Record_Company
Please join this discussion:
editKrystaleen, will you please join this discussion ASAP for a few minutes! The discussion is on the bottom of the page. Kinu wants everybody to chime in on it before he will hopefully let common sense and FACT prevail.

- Just dropping you a note... I had initiated my own SPI after a new suspected sock of this editor showed up today. Based on Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Professional Music Blogger, it looks like they've all been tagged and this should be a non-issue soon. (My sympathies for the bit of unwarranted abuse from these socks through this!) --Kinu t/c 00:37, 4 March 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks for the help Kinu, glad it's sorted out now. Thanks for the sympathy too :) --Krystaleen 03:32, 4 March 2013 (UTC)

Quick question...
editHow was my editing that you reverted here disruptive? PantherLeapord (talk) 05:12, 22 March 2013 (UTC)
- Because as per WP:SPOILER: "It is not acceptable to delete information from an article because you think it spoils the plot."--Krystaleen 08:10, 22 March 2013 (UTC)
