Please reconsider

I wish you would reconsider. Maybe take a break and then come back? --NeilN talk to me 13:57, 23 July 2015 (UTC)

I second NeilN. Moreover, your FLC is yet to be archived. What say? Pavanjandhyala (talk) 13:59, 23 July 2015 (UTC)
This isn't just for drama. I'm serious about this. Life has been cruel to me the last couple of days, and I think this was the final straw. I don't think I can deal with this hate anymore. I know you guys mean well, but I really cannot get back into this vicious cycle again. The encyclopedia will function better without hypocrite twats like me. The bad guys always lose at the end, right? So, yes, I have lost. --Krimuk|90 (talk) 14:07, 23 July 2015 (UTC)
Who calls you a diva now? I and Dr. Blofeld are surely surprised to know that just because of Prashant!, you are quitting Wikipedia which is too much. I could have done it long before because of my feuds with TRPoD. I was here to remind you about your pending FLC and rest is your call Krimuk. I'm done. ArbCom elections are now open!

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Unblock?

It's clear that you were getting stressed yesterday, and a block was needed to prevent the ongoing disruption that you indicated you would pursue. And although that approach is not really a good one (you can request a block in a calm manner, without disruption, if you feel you don't have the willpower to just stay away), I do empathize - I've had a burn-out in the past, and I blocked myself and stayed away for more than a year. You have clearly been around for some time and have done a lot of good work here, and I hope that you will want to come back some time and help us continue to develop this free educational resource.

So, enjoy a restful break, and if you should want to rejoin us then post an unblock request here, or just ping me, and I'll be happy to unblock. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 10:53, 14 February 2016 (UTC)

@Boing! said Zebedee: The problem with this is that Krimuk isn't your typical guy. Most people will fume at something and get blocked, and usually within a few days they calm down or put it behind them and return. But not Krimuk, when pushed he will literally jump off the edge and will disappear for months if not a year or two and also break off any contact offwiki too. I don't think it's all Prashant's fault though, perhaps Krimuk returned to wiki and thought after a bit it was a bad idea. I guess the indef block makes little difference as he'll be gone for months now anyway. Such a waste of a good (and otherwise friendly) editor. I don't get why he does this sort of thing, or break off contact with anybody.♦ Dr. Blofeld 20:55, 16 February 2016 (UTC)
I guess all those edit wars with Prashant caused Krimuk to snap, because that's how he was acting. This is like Chaplin suffering a nervous breakdown in Modern Times in the scene which you know. Kailash29792 (talk) 03:34, 17 February 2016 (UTC)
Prashant cannot be at fault always, Kailash. Krimuk himself is so adamant and you know that pretty well. He is a good and friendly person, but sometimes he's so stubborn. Any project of the Wikimedia Foundation is absolutely voluntary, and Krimuk could have retired again, which would've been very dignified. Unending disruptive activity followed by an indefinite block is surely isn't a dignified end though he deserved this cent percent. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 07:02, 17 February 2016 (UTC)
I guess you're right. And though I am not a doctor, I assume that Krimuk's mind snapped because of the countless edit wars he had with Prashant which he never completely healed from, to the point that even the slightest argument could cause him to snap again. Kailash29792 (talk) 09:09, 17 February 2016 (UTC)
Pavan, I'm sorry for the outburst before. But I do hope you saw things beyond the black and white labels you want to attach to people. And thank you Kailash for the support, and I'm sorry for how ugly things turned out that day. Regards! --Krimuk|90 (talk) 09:50, 17 February 2016 (UTC)

Thank you for being so kind to me, even when I was not. And many apologies from my part. I do hope that you, Kailash, and all the other editors who were affected my outburst understand that my behaviour that day was a result of more than just what meets the eye, and in no way was it an attack on any one of you. Having said it, I genuinely regret my actions and am deeply regretful for what happened. --Krimuk|90 (talk) 10:15, 17 February 2016 (UTC)
It's okay. None were actually offended, but because of an explanation error by Krish, Dr. Blofeld scolded Kailash. I corrected him, they patched up, and Dr. Blofeld picked up a row with Krish. I advised the latter to make some other unrelated (to PeeCee) article a GA and he chose Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. So that possibly settles everything. At this juncture, try to feel relaxed, and if possible, try to watch either Manam or Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu. Not that the rest of my ten recommendations are bad, but these two are very soothing. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 10:31, 17 February 2016 (UTC)

A beer for you!

Personally, I'm a teetotaller, but your return to Wikipedia (again) is such a happy moment and quoting Professor Cuthbert Calculus in a line from Destination Moon, a comic volume from The Adventures of Tintin, "This is not the moment to drink Chamomile tea!" Hence the beer! Welcome back, bro!    — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 17:05, 17 February 2016 (UTC)
Glad you enjoyed Nightcrawler. It's one of the most coldest films I've ever seen in recent times, IMO. As I said in my edit summary, "Some people would just do anything to get their head up their a**!" i. e. Prey on information, even create false info if need be.  — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 17:08, 17 February 2016 (UTC)
Thank you so much, Ssven2. :) I absolutely loved Nightcrawler. It's such a ballsy, original concept thriller - something which is so rare to find. It's surprising that Jake Gyllenhaal did not even get an Oscar nomination for the film - he gives one of the most bone-chilling performances I have ever seen! Alongside Walter White and The Joker, he ranks as my favourite anti-hero. --Krimuk|90 (talk) 02:38, 18 February 2016 (UTC)
Anti-hero? Gyllenhaal was a pure villain in Nightcrawler. Really — Coldly filming Bill Paxton getting injured after sabotaging his van, withholding info from the police whilst not admitting he had actually filmed the murderers getting into their car and having actually seen their faces clearly and getting his own partner killed when he asked for half the share of the reward and claiming afterwards that he took away his "bargaining power". — These are things a villain normally does.    — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 07:32, 18 February 2016 (UTC)
You know, I've always disliked using the word "villain" for such complex characters. I feel that it's great that these days we see characters in the movies to whom we can't attach the "good" and "bad" labels. They maybe twisted, morally abhorrent and intensely unlikable, and yet make you root for them. That's what Nightcrawler does so well. Krimuk|90 (talk) 09:39, 18 February 2016 (UTC)

Steve Jobs better than The Revenant??♦ Dr. Blofeld 17:31, 19 February 2016 (UTC)

Haha, I definitely meant to give The Revenant four stars as well. Enjoyed both of them tremendously. Krimuk|90 (talk) 03:26, 20 February 2016 (UTC)
Krimuk, do watch Visaranai. It's one of the best films I've ever seen this year. It's screened with English subtitles in theatres so that everyone would see it. A really great and grim egg!    — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 05:16, 20 February 2016 (UTC)
I watched it last night, Ssven2. Vetrimaaran's brutal honesty is appreciable, but i felt that film tries too hard to tell a point thereby taking cinematic liberties at times, and the over-rated violence makes things a bit difficult. Overall, it was a spine-chilling film. Thanks for the recommendation!   Pavanjandhyala (talk) 05:25, 20 February 2016 (UTC)
Sounds interesting! --Krimuk|90 (talk) 17:11, 20 February 2016 (UTC)

I have been stalking watching User:Krimuk90/Films seen since I generally agree with your assessments. Spotlight for me was the best of 2015 closely followed by The Revenant. It is so if I ignore the fact that Star Wars: The Force Awakens was released in that year as well (yeah, I am one of those dedicated Star Wars' fans!). Yash! 15:34, 21 February 2016 (UTC)

Thank you, Yash! :) For me, Spotlight, Carol and Inside Out would be the best films of the year, followed very closely by The Revenant, Ex Machina and Brooklyn. I have to say that I enjoyed Star Wars: TFA tremendously as well. --Krimuk|90 (talk) 01:55, 22 February 2016 (UTC)
Don't mean to meddle in your conversation but doing it anyway :). My list for best ones are pretty much the same alongside (Bollywood ones) Masaan, Margarita with a Straw and Talvar. I am very much rooting for DiCaprio and Lady Gaga's wins at the Oscars. -- Frankie talk 19:13, 22 February 2016 (UTC)
You are always welcome to post here Frankie. :) Sadly, I haven't seen those Bollywood films yet. From the ones I did see, Dum Laga Ke Haisha, Piku and Bajirao Mastani were my favourites. Performance wise, I liked Amitabh Bachchan (Piku), Ranveer Singh (BM), Deepika Padukone (Piku), Priyanka Chopra (BM) and Shefali Shah (Dil Dhadakne Do) the most. --Krimuk|90 (talk) 01:58, 23 February 2016 (UTC)

No, nothing of that sort. I just want to stay away from confrontation at the time being. I do think that a previous relationship should be included in the lead if it is notable enough, as is the case with Rai, but if you disagree I won't fight you for it. Good luck! --Krimuk|90 (talk) 03:48, 24 February 2016 (UTC)

Varun Dhawan

Considering the tweaks and minor edits you made to this article recently, i want to ask something. The article's tone and writing suggests that Badlapur is an important film in Dhawan's career. The section name is also "Badlapur and beyond". May i know why an image related to ABCD 2 is being used, if Badlapur has a good amount of importance? Pavanjandhyala (talk) 10:27, 24 February 2016 (UTC)

Hey, the ABCD 2 image is the best-quality free image available at the moment at Commons. No other reason. :) --Krimuk|90 (talk) 10:33, 24 February 2016 (UTC)
Its okay. If we do not have a proper image, then it is indeed a helpless situation. But IMHO, Badlapur is far, far better than ABCD 2 as a cinematic experience and Dhawan, though performed in a better way, could have altered his dialogue delivery and voice tone a bit once he turns the old, venomous foreman. What do you think? Pavanjandhyala (talk) 10:38, 24 February 2016 (UTC)
I haven't seen Badlapur yet, sadly. It's high on my must-watch list, especially since I think Dhawan is a wonderful actor and more so because Raghavan has made Johnny Gaddaar, which is one of my favourite Hindi films. --Krimuk|90 (talk) 10:40, 24 February 2016 (UTC)
Do watch it. It is not as taut as Johnny Gaddar, but is surely a dark and compelling film. And yes, don't miss the beginning. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 12:45, 24 February 2016 (UTC)

Refs in infobox and lead

Hi Krimuk, in this edit I've reinstated references that you removed here. My primary reason is that the subject's age has been vandalized many times and having obvious refs are helpful for anti-vandal work. If you need a more specific guideline, I think it would be MOS:LEAD, which reads: As a general rule of thumb, a lead section should ... be carefully sourced as appropriate. Regards, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 20:03, 24 February 2016 (UTC)

Hey, no problem at all. I just removed the reference from the lead because it was already sourced in the main body. But if the refs are helpful in the lead, it's all good. Cheers! --Krimuk|90 (talk) 01:39, 25 February 2016 (UTC)

Glad you watched and enjoyed it! I've been meaning to watch it for sometime but I haven't been able to get it. How did you get a hold of it?    — Ssven2 Speak 2 me 10:47, 24 February 2016 (UTC)

I think that was one of the earliest ones I recommended to both of you, all about Magnani's performance which is one of the greatest e ver!♦ Dr. Blofeld 18:01, 24 February 2016 (UTC)

BTW if either of you want another great 1962 film to watch try Cléo from 5 to 7, that's one of the best French films I've seen, it ought to be in my top 50. Au Hasard Balthazar also is an incredible film and in my top 50 already. It's quite brilliant. Jean-Luc Godard said, "Everyone who sees this film will be absolutely astonished [...] because this film is really the world in an hour and a half.", which sums it up well.♦ Dr. Blofeld 18:10, 24 February 2016 (UTC)

Ssven, you can watch the film on Putlocker. Yeah, Magnani really owns the film. I can imagine why Tennessee Williams wrote the play with her in mind. --Krimuk|90 (talk) 01:42, 25 February 2016 (UTC)

Awards

After being recommended to watch The Naked Gun trilogy, somehow for no reason, i was going through yours and Ssven2's list. Your list showed something strange, not even found in Dr. Blofeld's list as well. That was something similar to awards, like Favourite film, Favourite actor etc. I am interested to know what made you begin this? Also, i find the coincidence weird that these awards begin from "1990" in the list by Krimuk"90". Pavanjandhyala (talk) 02:26, 4 March 2016 (UTC)

It's just something I thought of doing. :) And since I was born in 1990, and haven't seen a majority of films before that, I decided to begin the list from that year onwards. --Krimuk|90 (talk) 04:09, 4 March 2016 (UTC)
Guess the Oscars, NFAs and Filmfare inspired you :) Pavanjandhyala (talk) 04:58, 4 March 2016 (UTC)
Hahahah, yeah probably! --Krimuk|90 (talk) 09:27, 4 March 2016 (UTC)
Didn't go through the tables, as i haven't seen at least half of those films. Have you watched any recently that we talked about? Say Badlapur, Eega, etc.? Pavanjandhyala (talk) 11:00, 4 March 2016 (UTC)
Yeah, Badlapur was pretty good. --Krimuk|90 (talk) 01:47, 5 March 2016 (UTC)
Nawazuddin Siddiqui was fantastic as Liak. Varun did a good job, but as i said earlier, he should have taken care of his voice modulation and dialogue delivery once he turns the old foreman in Badlapur. I mean, his voice sounds too young for a nearly 50 year old. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 02:02, 5 March 2016 (UTC)
