editHello, I'm Meters. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Guillotine, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Meters (talk) 05:39, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
Thanks a lot!

I like your answer at the miscellaneous reference desk. Out of the options you suggested, I eventually chose "spokesperson", "driver", and "accountant". 79.177.151.182 (talk) 16:48, 19 December 2024 (UTC) |
I'm collecting examples from everyday life, for idempotent functions. Btw, do you have any idea why another editor had decided to hide the whole thread (before I reverted)? 79.177.151.182 (talk) 16:55, 19 December 2024 (UTC)
- Interesting exercise, I was wondering about that :) Thank you for the barnstar. As to why it was hidden, it is most probably a misunderstanding of your motive combined with some anti-IP (anti-anonymous-editor) bias. That page gets some traffic from sockpuppets as well as people who ask questions that seem out of place for Wikipedia in general, to the point where it seems like trolling.
