Image copyright problem with Image:N-ethylmaleimide.png
editThanks for uploading Image:N-ethylmaleimide.png. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator.
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you have questions about copyright tagging of images, post on Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags or User talk:Carnildo/images. 03:27, 2 March 2006 (UTC)
Tai kaipgi rašoma, "motorizuotas pėstininkų batalionas" arba "motorizuotasis pėstininkų batalionas"? Pataisyk, jei gali, aš lietuvių kalbą jau beveik pamiršau... :) User:Dalen_talas 05:05, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on 4cE, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. RJASE1 Talk 04:00, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
Little context in Mid-exponential phase
editHello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Mid-exponential phase, by ChristophMartel (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Mid-exponential phase is very short providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Mid-exponential phase, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 10:51, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
- I've redirected Mid-exponential phase to Bacterial growth; please consider expanding that article. Marasmusine 11:59, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
License tagging for Image:Dodecenyl succinic anhydride 2D structure.png
editThanks for uploading Image:Dodecenyl succinic anhydride 2D structure.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 22:06, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of DNA polymerase eta, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://atlasgeneticsoncology.org/Genes/XPVID303.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 22:08, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Vim-LaTeX
editA proposed deletion template has been added to the article Vim-LaTeX, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
- Non-notable software.
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Category
editHi there, please check if my comment in Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2014_September_26#Category:Condensed_phase makes sense. Also please note that I've tagged Category:Condensed phase for deletion as this was your original nomination. Next time, please tag a category yourself if you want to nominate a category for deleting, merging or renaming, because if you don't tag the category the nomination will be rejected for procedural reasons. Disambiguation link notification for March 12
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of college towns, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Huntington College. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

The article International Max Planck Research School for Molecular Biology has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
No encyclopedic relevance, nobody is improving citation issues, also just advertising
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
Also:
This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 18 October 2024 (UTC)
