Your illustrations

edit

Hi. While contributors are encouraged to upload free images to Wikipedia, there are certain quality standards to keep in mind. Personal doodles done up in MS Paint have a quirky, endearing quality, but they fall below the quality threshold for illustrating encyclopedic articles. ˉˉanetode╦╩ 11:48, 9 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Photo of Sigmund Freud

edit

Please see my comments here about the photo you added. Thank you. Ward3001 02:21, 6 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Although I am sorry that you spent time working on something that was reverted, that often happens in Wikipedia. Fundamental Wikipedia policy says that you should not edit if you don't want what you contribute to be mercilessly edited. And how much time you spent on the photo does not change the fact that it is orignal research. Please read WP:OR. And, to repeat my comment on Freud's talk page, there is no consensus for colorized photos, especially on Freud's page. Such change require discussion on the Talk page instead of a unilateral decision by one editor. Ward3001 04:07, 6 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
