Conflict of interest policy
editHello, Kailasher. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you have an external relationship with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.
All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.
If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:
- Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
- Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
- Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.
Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies. Note that Wikipedia's terms of use require disclosure of your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation.
For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. --Ronz (talk) 17:11, 11 August 2015 (UTC)
- I have recently come acros some of the works of We Care for Humanity in India and some or other way I am a victim of those atrocities which they want to redeem.Kailasher (talk) 01:26, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for responding. No conflict of interest then. It would still be extremely helpful for you to familiarize yourself with the content policies mentioned. You'll also want to look closely at the Biographies of living persons policy and the notability guidelines. --Ronz (talk) 16:41, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for your guidance.Kailasher (talk) 16:44, 12 August 2015 (UTC)

Is it safe to assume the other two articles have similar problems? --Ronz (talk) 20:08, 23 August 2015 (UTC)
- Hello? Please respond. Also, take a look at WP:BLP as well, which states, "Contentious material about living persons (or, in some cases, recently deceased) that is unsourced or poorly sourced – whether the material is negative, positive, neutral, or just questionable – should be removed immediately and without waiting for discussion". --Ronz (talk) 14:45, 24 August 2015 (UTC)
- The article has been speedy deleted. The company article appears to also have copyright problems. How do you want to proceed?--Ronz (talk) 15:15, 24 August 2015 (UTC)
- [1] Thanks for the cleanup. --Ronz (talk) 14:41, 25 August 2015 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for October 22
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Maria Amor Torres, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Filipino. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:48, 22 October 2015 (UTC)
Non-free rationale for File:Kirti M.Doongursee College Logo.jpeg
editThanks for uploading or contributing to File:Kirti M.Doongursee College Logo.jpeg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 23:55, 25 October 2015 (UTC)
