Speedy deletion nomination of Uya Kuya

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Uya Kuya requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 15:17, 15 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Creating an article with a "needs translation" template only is not the proper way to request that someone translate the Indonesian page about Uya Kuya into English. Rather, you should create a request at Requested Articles, indicating the Indonesian page as a good starting point for source material. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 15:20, 15 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Asian 10,000 Challenge invite

edit

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 04:56, 20 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Glosbe

edit

The article Glosbe has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unsourced article for a website of questionable notability which despite its small size already looks very spammy.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Novbasa moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Novbasa, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the confirms on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. Your draft article, Draft:Novbasa

edit

Hello, Jumark27. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Novbasa".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. CptViraj (📧) 17:59, 17 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

2019 US Banknote Contest

edit
  US Banknote Contest
November-December 2019

There are an estimated 30,000 different varieties of United States banknotes, yet only a fraction of these are represented on Wikimedia Commons in the form of 2D scans. Additionally, Colonial America, the Confederate States, the Republic of Texas, multiple states and territories, communities, and private companies have issued banknotes that are in the public domain today but are absent from Commons.

In the months of November and December, WikiProject Numismatics will be running a cross-wiki upload-a-thon, the 2019 US Banknote Contest. The goal of the contest is to increase the number of US banknote images available to content creators on all Wikimedia projects. Participants will claim points for uploading and importing 2D scans of US banknotes, and at the end of the contest all will receive awards. Whether you want to claim the Gold Wiki or you just want to have fun, all are invited to participate.

If you do not want to receive invitations to future US Banknote Contests, follow the instructions here

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to Philippine languages, without good reason. They should have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Please read the guidelines before you unilaterally move page titles. And moving page titles during an ongoing move discussion is disruptive. Austronesier (talk) 09:28, 16 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Notice

edit

Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! TheHotwiki (talk) 06:32, 9 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

  Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Eat Bulaga!, you may be blocked from editing. TheHotwiki (talk) 06:33, 9 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Final warning

edit

Your recent editing history at Eat Bulaga! shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.TheHotwiki (talk) 06:35, 9 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

What you are fighting for has no basis. I don't understand where your reasons are coming from for repeatedly removing E.A.T. as a related show of Eat Bulaga on Wikipedia without any justification. Excuse me, I hope you know the meaning of "related shows". Because the two shows are related... what do you understand about related shows? Well, the former hosts of Eat Bulaga are now the original hosts of a new show on TV5 called E.A.T. It's difficult for you, you're too nosy, the editing has already been fixed, but you're still causing trouble. You're the ones who keep removing the connection between TVJ and Eat Bulaga, but it's really related to E.A.T. on TV5 because the hosts of E.A.T. are also the original hosts of Eat Bulaga.
Do you know what "related shows" mean? The two shows are related because the hosts of a new show on TV5 called E.A.T. were originally hosts of Eat Bulaga. Some people are causing trouble by removing the connection between TVJ and Eat Bulaga, but it's really related to E.A.T. on TV5.
Explain to me, why are you removing E.A.T., the new noontime show of TVJ to Eat Bulaga? 'Cause for me they are related shows.
Do I not have the right to edit on Wikipedia? It seems like you're the ones who are always being followed here, even if you're wrong. Please understand the efforts of other people who tirelessly edit articles on Wikipedia. There is no basis for removing E.A.T. as a related show of Eat Bulaga because they have the same hosts. TVJ is the foundation of Eat Bulaga, which now has a new show called E.A.T. In reality, E.A.T. is just a temporary title for them on TV5 because they are fighting for the title Eat Bulaga for their new program. Jumark27 (talk) 21:12, 15 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
You have been reverted by FIVE different editors for the same edit. Good luck explaining your disruptive editing to the admins.TheHotwiki (talk) 22:14, 15 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
Then, what is your reason for repeatedly removing E.A.T. as a related show of Eat Bulaga, even though they are related since they have the same hosts, writers, and directors? You have no basis for removing it multiple times. Jumark27 (talk) 22:21, 15 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
TVJ has clearly dissociated with TAPE Incorporated and this article is mainly about the TAPE-produced show. We need to maintain neutrality while there is obviously an ongoing dispute between the two camps. Best we can do now is to wait for a court decision whether who has the rights to carry the name and the show.
Talking about the technicality of the related parameter, the comment on Template: Infobox television clearly specifies that it is "To be used only for remakes, spin-offs, and adaptations". Including E.A.T. on the Eat Bulaga! article also defeats the neutrality aspect as both camps claim they have sole rights to the show.
Along with @Hotwiki and the rest of the editors, I am also kindly asking for your cooperation, @Jumark27. If you continue to contest your claim, I believe it is better for the admins to take care of your concern. Thanks. FrostFleece (talk) 04:47, 16 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
Its not a spin off of the show. Different producers, Different network. You don't need to PROMOTE the new show of the formerhosts in the article of Eat Bulaga. TheHotwiki (talk) 08:15, 16 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
Even they have different producers, still the two shows are related because of the hosts and their staffs. What you are fighting for has no basis. I don't understand where your reasons are coming from for repeatedly removing E.A.T. as a related show of Eat Bulaga on Wikipedia without any justification. Your actions are pressuring me, perhaps because you hold a strong position on Wikipedia. It is very unfair of you.Jumark27 (talk) 10:47, 16 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
Please read the parameter comment:
"To be used only for remakes, spin-offs, and adaptations"
It does not state anything about related staff or hosts, it is about the television program. What justification are you talking about? There's no fighting here.
This is already a template, @Jumark27. Your profile states that you are editing here for 8 years and I hope you know this better than I do.
This will be my last response if you still want to go with your reason. @Hotwiki has enough grounds to escalate this. Do consider avoiding taking this matter further than it should be. FrostFleece (talk) 11:42, 16 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
Is the "related shows" template only to be used for remakes, spin-offs, and adaptations? Please clarify, as I have seen many TV shows with related shows that are not from the same production company, but only have the same hosts... You used to allow this before... It seems like you are not faithful to your own rules when it comes to using the "related shows" template. It feels like you just want to justify the mistakes of Hotwiki, who has no basis for repeatedly removing E.A.T. as a related show of Eat Bulaga, just because he holds a position on Wikipedia and you are defending him against me. Well, I cannot accept your way of defending him. There is no basis or justification for his repeated removal of E.A.T. as a related show of Eat Bulaga. It seems like you are biased towards the Jalosjos, whether intentional or not, but that's the message you are conveying to me. You have forgotten the connection of TVJ to Eat Bulaga, who are now the hosts of the new show on TV5, but the title Eat Bulaga will not stay with the Jalosjos for long because TVJ will take it back if they win the court case against the Jalosjos. It just shows that you are biased, you like to make excuses, and you want to side with Hotwiki even though he is wrong just because he holds a position on Wikipedia. Jumark27 (talk) 19:22, 16 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
WayKurat have reported him to ANI due to WP:OWN behavior, for his repeated reverts on picture quality of GMA related-articles. Maybe you should report Hotwiki again to ANI, to prove why he is removing EAT in an Eat Bulaga article. I'll let WayKurat know about Hotwiki's disruption on Eat Bulaga article which constitutes as a violation of WP:OWN. Maybe one day, someone create the 2023 Eat Bulaga! dispute, which it will consider as an standalone article which they have more press sources about TVJ-Jalosjos dispute.

Please do that and ask WayKurat, to alarm the administrators about Jumark's several reverts from restoring back EAT's link despite FIVE editors reverting his/her edits. I'm too lazy right now to file a report.TheHotwiki (talk) 17:06, 17 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
You're the one who's eager to report, while I'm the victim here. You made a mistake but you're pretending to be the victim. I wonder why you can't just admit your mistake? Maybe it's because you have too much pride, perhaps you hold a position in Wikipedia, but your judgment is not fair. What you're doing seems like an abuse of power, and I'm one of the victims. You're blaming me too much for what happened, but you're the root cause of the repeated editing of the Eat Bulaga article, as you keep removing E.A.T. as a related show of Eat Bulaga. Maybe you forgot the connection of TVJ to Eat Bulaga, who are now hosts of a new program on TV5. Please don't be arrogant, just admit that you made a mistake. Wikipedia:3RR

edit

These links - [4][5][6][7][8] are enough evidences that you have violated Wikipedia's 3RR rule. To answer @FrostFleece:'s recent comment about me taking this issue to the administrators, I am too lazy right now to send a report. But if anyone here is visiting Jumark27's talk page to see the current dispute, the evidences are loud and clear that as of July 2023, User:Jumark27 have violated the Wikipedia:3RR rule. TheHotwiki (talk) 17:29, 17 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

You even mentioned "loud and clear evidence", for your information, you are the root cause of all of this, if you did not repeatedly remove E.A.T. as a related show of Eat Bulaga, I would not repeatedly revert it. You have no basis for doing that because first and foremost, the two shows are related shows because they have the same hosts and crews. Do not blame me for your mistakes because first and foremost, you are the root cause of this. You violated and not me. Do not twist the story that you are acting like a victim. Jumark27 (talk) 20:45, 17 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Hotwiki You deleted my messages to you on your Talk Page, what was that? Is it a way to cover up and avoid being punished? Right there, you were not being fair. You don't want to be judged, that's why you deleted my messages to you on your Talk Page. Jumark27 (talk) 21:03, 17 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
Users can delete messages in their talk page, if they want to. Also there's edit history in talk pages which you can access to see your deleted message. I've seen your message in my talk page and I decided to respond to it, directly through your talk page. You are taking bad faith to your fellow editor by accusing them of "covering up things". Resorting to personal attacks isn't allowed in Wikipediam TheHotwiki (talk) 21:50, 17 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
May I repeat myself, at least FIVE different editors removed your edit in Eat Bulaga! article, as I mentioned previously. TheHotwiki (talk) 21:55, 17 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Hotwiki Your justification, that you were five editors who said I was wrong, is that it? Well, your justification is completely wrong and I will never accept that kind of justification because even if you were five editors removed E.A.T. as a related show of Eat Bulaga, you still have no basis for your justification because these two shows are indeed related shows... Your lies through editing Wikipedia articles cannot cover up the truth... Because the truth is, whether Wikipedia acknowledges it or not, these two programs are related shows on Television. You have no basis for removing E.A.T. as a related show of Eat Bulaga because first of all, they have the same hosts and crews even if they are produced by different companies, and TVJ, who are now hosts of a new program on TV5, are pioneers of Eat Bulaga from TAPE Inc. which is still airing on GMA Network.
I hope it's clear to you, because no matter how many explanations I give you, still you won't understand it if your mind is still closed to the truth, but the truth will prevail and cannot be denied because the truth is that these two programs are real related shows whether you accept this or not. Jumark27 (talk) 22:55, 17 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
Can you please stop this heated debate now, can you please drop the stick? Let other editors edit the Eat Bulaga! and E.A.T. articles and also to Hotwiki stop owning the Eat Bulaga page. I'll tag WayKurat to know about the article dispute. 2600:1700:9BF3:220:7588:637C:3BAD:6012 (talk) 00:23, 18 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
You should notify the administrators. WayKurat is not an administrator. TheHotwiki (talk) 06:58, 18 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
You act as if you own Wikipedia, why don't you just keep quiet to avoid any more trouble, especially since you're the one who started it all. You don't even want to admit your mistake, yet you have the audacity to complain as if you're acting like a victim here. Jumark27 (talk) 08:53, 18 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Jasyon Gainza

edit

A tag has been placed on Jasyon Gainza requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a recently created redirect from an implausible typo or misnomer, or other unlikely search term.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution

edit

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Eat Bulaga! into Tahanang Pinakamasaya. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 15:08, 7 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thanks! TheHotwiki (talk) 16:21, 19 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

why do you keep including links in a See Also section, when those links are already linked in the article more than once. Do you want to promote Eat Bulaga and E.A.T. in the article of Tahanang Pinakamasaya? I suggest you read Wikipedia:OVERLINK before you make another disruptive edit. Keep this up, and you'll be reported for disruptive editing. TheHotwiki (talk) 16:25, 19 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
In my opinion, it is deemed appropriate to include it since there's still a connection between the two shows, and there was a connection or history between TAPE and Eat Bulaga. It's just a "see also" reference, but for me, their connections should not be separated as part of their respective histories. I understand that it's not just my opinion that matters, but personally, I believe it's fair, unbiased, and justified. Jumark27 (talk) 13:26, 22 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Ai Generated Content?

edit

Hello @Jumark27, I've come to notice that your recent edit on the Papua New Guinea section of the List of pastoral visits of Pope Francis closely resembles an AI generated Text Output? I've checked on 3 Different AI detector software, all bringing a highly positive result of the given sentence being AI. Whilst consensus deemed the allowance of Artificial Intelligence as a writing assistant (as Per WP:AI), fully pasting such words directly without the necessary copy edits is impermissible as it would leave facts and accuracy to the sentences unchecked. Kindly rewrite the wording as a written Paragraph form and follow the process of copy edits. Thank you, Kaliper1 (talk) 14:22, 9 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Especially in a topic such like this. Kaliper1 (talk) 14:22, 9 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
Ok, I'll try to rewrite it, but also if you are willing, please help too, so that the text I added to the article is not be deleted. Thanks. Jumark27 (talk) 17:04, 9 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
