Île-de-France (sheep)

Hi there! I've temporarily deleted Île-de-France (sheep), as it is a bit too short. In the meantime, I've added a short note to Île-de-France (disambiguation); if you get a chance, perhaps you could expand on the article once more? --HappyCamper 18:26, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

I don't really have enouh to add. I had hoped that someone with more info would improve it. As a shepherd, I know that the "IDF" as it is called is being used in a lot of cross breeding here in the USA, and with the breed name showing up in the mainstream press, I wanted reporters to have access to at least a little info. Blackstone Valley Trail ??

It is an interesting question. I think that it is officially a bike trail but is often listed as a rail tril. IMO, true rail trails replace abandoned rails. Robert K. Hall (National Guard Officer)

A little help please. You undid my link for Robert Hall in the Battle for Henderson Field, because it pointed to the wrong Robert Hall. You are right. I was trying to fix it, without success. If you have the skills, please redo the link to point to Robert K. Hall (National Guard Officer). Find it under Robert Hall (disambiguation). Best Regards!! The Robert K. Hall (National Guard Officer) has been put back. I'd appreciate it if you could re do the link from the Battle for Henderson Field article to point to the right Robert Hall. It would also be great if you could improve on the rather short story I put together. I can't even find birth/death dates, or confirm that he was one of the very few soldiers to be awarded the Navy Cross for WWII service. Thanks! Jtmilesmmr (talk) 11:53, 17 July 2008 (UTC)

I worked on the article [1]. I don't think it will be a candidate for deletion now. I would suggest putting the references in the correct format (see the Battle for Henderson Field as an example) and adding some inline citations. Otherwise, I think it's a fine start. Good work. IDF Caterpillar D9‎

Greetings Jtmilesmmr, I undid your recent edit to the IDF Caterpillar D9‎ page because it does not seem to point to the IDF sending the D9 to Iraq. It appears that the only commonality is that both countries use that particular piece of equipment. Perhaps your information would be better suited on either the coalition forces in Iraq page, the US Army page or even the Bulldozer page. Cheers!! - 4twenty42o (talk) 16:50, 12 June 2011 (UTC)

Perhaps in a broader perspective, such as a history book, your information would be ideal. But I do not see how the history of such a minor piece of equipment helps an encyclopedia. The general history of certain noteworthy topics such as the A-4 and various combat histories while in use by various world powers is most certainly noteworthy.
