Regional 2 Leagues

edit

Thank you for the excellent efforts you put into improving and updating coverage of rugby union in England on Wikipedia.

Currently, four of the sixth tier Regional 2 leagues do not have an article. I was wondering if you were thinking of creating articles for the four leagues currently without an article? Rillington (talk) 16:02, 1 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Cheers. They need doing but I do not have the time at the moment. Didn't do it last year as I was afraid an Admin would delete them, if it was considered they were not significant enough for a wikipedia article. Also feel Regional 1 leagues, such as Regional 1 South East, need to be separated from their current article. They are getting too bulky. Jowaninpensans (talk) 18:36, 1 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
How would you separate those Regional 1 League articles? Rillington (talk) 14:05, 7 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
When the leagues were reorganised the London and South East was split into two leagues, so I would start a new article under the old name of London & South East Premier. Then cut and paste all the previous seasons to that article. Would do the same for Regional 1 Midlands and Regional 1 South West. Jowaninpensans (talk) 21:16, 8 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
