Regarding your request at Wikipedia:Requests for permissions/Confirmed:

It is a good idea for new editors (and even seasoned editors) to work on article drafts in one's own user space. You can use your sandbox (there's a link to it at the top of this page), or create any sub-pages such as User:Jkgiesler/MyNewArticleName.

Doing this has advantages:

  • It lets you invite others to review it before moving it to main article space.
  • You can develop the article in Wikipedia's environment so you'll know how it would look as an article.
  • You can develop the article at your leisure without worrying about the article being deleted as unsuitable for main article space.
  • It helps you earn the trust of the Wikipedia community as a constructive contributor.

When you do create a sub-page or use your sandbox for draft articles, remember to place the tag {{userspace draft}} at the top to indicate that it's a work in progress. ~Amatulić (talk) 23:31, 16 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
