DC articles related and more
editYou did a good job starting the articles for Beth Chapel and Dial H for Hero characters Robby Reed and Chris King and Vicki Grant as well as sorting Brain Wave and his son. I was able to take your approval to establish a set index for Red Tornado yesterday so that the android version would get his own page separated from the Lois Lane version that is listed there only for it to get reverted by another user. Any chance you can do attempt #2 when you get the chance? Also, I have noticed that the edit part of your talk page has been changed that also included a head briefly popping up which I never seen before. Do you have any comment on that? --Rtkat3 (talk) 16:01, 2 November 2020 (UTC)
- No it didn't. The page has been created with the code name categories placed in it. --Rtkat3 (talk) 15:53, 3 November 2020 (UTC)
DC Comics host response
editThat would be a good idea to get a page for the host even though Eve currently redirects to List of The Sandman characters. We will have to think of something for Cain and Abel who currently share a page. --Rtkat3 (talk) 16:34, 6 November 2020 (UTC)

- Personally I would consider this to be a priority, if you don't want any newly recreated or un-redirected articles to be flagged by the NPP team like what happened with the four biblical-themed DC character articles. Haleth (talk) 16:45, 20 November 2020 (UTC)

editI was contacted (not by the nominator, for the record) about your decline of a WP:G4 nomination for Imperial Guard (comics). Speedy deletion nomination of Crimson Avenger (Jill Carlyle)
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Crimson Avenger (Jill Carlyle) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://tail.atlamingsetrefo.tk/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. DC Comics characters-related
editHi. I would like to let you know that someone created a redirect for Catherine-Hamilton Kane that goes to the List of Batwoman characters page. I was thinking of having it redirected to either the List of Batman supporting characters page like Vesper Fairchild's redirect goes, a bio on the List of DC Comics characters: H page, or a bio on the List of minor DC Comics characters page where Sophie Moore is redirected to. What would you recommend? As for the different Red Arrow redirects that were created, how can it be established as a set index with different sources as it has been reverted twice? Any ideas? --Rtkat3 (talk) 15:30, 29 January 2021 (UTC)

Luthor-related
editHi. I was wanting your opinion on what to do about information regarding Alexei Luthor who is depicted as being different from Lex Luthor. Should we leave the information in the Golden Age section or have the information put on a separate page? I'm just asking for your opinion here. --Rtkat3 (talk) 20:20, 4 September 2021 (UTC)
- He is still a Luthor. Alexei Luthor is the Luthor of Earth-Two while Alexander "Lex" Luthor (the version whose page talks mostly about him) is on Earth-One prior to the Crisis on Infinite Earths. Outside of his clashes with Superman, he did appear in the later issues of the All-Star Squadron alongside Earth-Two's versions of Joker and Catwoman (whom it would take awhile to find Golden Age history to sort from the main articles). On a related note with Earth-Two's Joker, King Kull did enlist him once in a three-part crossover. --Rtkat3 (talk) 15:26, 7 September 2021 (UTC)
- We can stick with your suggestion for now until any notability can be found for Alexei Luthor. --Rtkat3 (talk) 14:27, 16 September 2021 (UTC)

Amy Rose
editI see you attempted to revert the re-merge there, but reverted yourself after realizing the consensus. But I agree we need some input outside these group of editors who do tend to be pretty hard on character articles. In the mean time, feel free to check out the draft that Oinkers42 has put up following the re-merge: https://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/User:(Oinkers42)/sandbox/Amy_Rose MoonJet (talk) 00:14, 2 August 2022 (UTC)
- @MoonJet:. Sorry for the inactivity for the most part. I myself think it is fine and already proving notability in that sandbox. I just personally was in no mood for possible drama of reverts on my part. Jhenderson 777 22:28, 6 August 2022 (UTC)
- I think notability has already been established too. Otherwise, I wouldn't had tried bringing it back the other day. But unfortunately, many of the editors around the Sonic field didn't agree when I tried bringing it back. I might start an RFC proposal to get some outside opinions. No promises though, as I've already dealt with enough drama.
- But yeah, more Sonic characters should have articles, and Amy Rose is the best candidate, followed by Metal Sonic, whom I have draft for here: https://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/User:MoonJet/Metal_Sonic MoonJet (talk) 13:28, 7 August 2022 (UTC)

Category suppression needed at User:Jhenderson777/ megaregion
editHi. Just a friendly reminder about user page categorization.
I've noticed a user page of yours linked above (cool map btw:) is appearing in a regular content category. See Category:United States metropolitan area templates under J. This is discouraged. See WP:DRAFTNOCAT and WP:USERNOCAT for additional information.
Usually it's avoided by placing a leading colon at the beginning of the category declaration like so:
[[:Category:United States metropolitan area templates]]
or, by bracketing category declarations with Template:Draft categories like this:
{{Draft categories| [[Category:United States metropolitan area templates]] }}
Either method will disable the category function. Thank you. Cheers! --DB1729talk 14:08, 3 February 2023 (UTC)

The file File:Jessica Rabbit.png has been proposed for deletion. The proposed deletion notice added to the file should explain why.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 10 November 2023 (UTC)
