Issuing level 1 warning about removing AfD template from articles before the discussion is complete. (Peachy 2.0 (alpha 8))
editWelcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Good Morning, Internet!. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. This is an automated message from a bot about this edit, where you removed the deletion template from an article before the deletion discussion was complete. If this message is in error, please report it.—cyberbot ITalk to my owner:Online 15:03, 20 September 2016 (UTC)
- For talk page stalkers, this was me reverting a page that was vandalized and then submitted (much later) to AfD. I am involved in this AfD discussion and made a note of my revert. Jergling (talk) 15:27, 20 September 2016 (UTC)

SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better — thanks for helping.

Forbes/sites and other fake news sources
editIf you haven't seen it already you might be interested in WP: Conflict of interest/noticeboard#Fake news sites. Also WP:Articles for deletion/India Book of Records and WP:Articles for deletion/Golden Book of World Records. Cheers - Brianhe (talk) 07:05, 20 November 2016 (UTC)
- Thank you very much. I didn't realize there was a COI noticeboard at all! I thought that would all be taken to the RS board. I'm hoping we can expand this discussion beyond just COI into general prohibition of the offending subdomains, as in adding "Blogs, including (offending subdomains of Forbes, Reuters, etc.) may not be used to establish notability." to the official rules/guidelines. -Jergling (talk) 07:40, 20 November 2016 (UTC)

Pinging, as requested
editPer your comment on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/TMP Directional Marketing... I'm fixin' to close the AFD. You want to grab those references? Joyous! | Talk 02:14, 24 November 2016 (UTC)
Kurzweil
edit"Needing to cite Ray Kurzweil for anything other than synthesizers is a good sign that your topic is made up. ..." That statement from this discussion made me snort in an un-admin-like fashion. Joyous! | Talk 00:31, 29 November 2016 (UTC)
- @Joyous!: Heh. Thanks! I'm a big fan of Kurzweil keyboards but not so much their namesake. Also, I inadvertently took a short break from WP and missed your message about TMP. Did the sources disappear with the article? I'm not too worried about the article but I feel bad breaking that promise. -Jergling PC Load Letter 17:28, 1 December 2016 (UTC)
- The sources were deleted with the article, but I would be happy to un-delete for a bit, if you'd like to grab them. Joyous! | Talk 00:23, 2 December 2016 (UTC)
- Go ahead, I'll be online regularly today. -Jergling PC Load Letter 15:30, 2 December 2016 (UTC)
