Barrie Phillips
editI have jsut declined your speedy deletion nomination of Barrie Phillips as a repost of an article deleted via a deletion dicscussion. I am far from convinced that he satisfies the notability guidelines, but the new version of the article mentions his playing for South Wales Scorpions, which means that the current version of the article contains at least a claim of notability which was not able to be considered in the deletion discussion. If you still think the article should be deleted, thn you could restore the PROD, which I see you placed and then and removed, or you could take the article to a new AfD discussion. editPlease be careful about what you say to people. Some remarks, such as your addition to User:Klenky can easily be misinterpreted. Wikipedia is a supportive environment, where contributors should feel comfortable and safe while editing. Thank you. Tmol42 (talk) 16:03, 9 February 2014 (UTC)
- I don't agree in the least. Your comments there were perfectly civil an reasonable, and simply explained to the editor what the situation was. I can't begin to imagine why anyone would think that your comments would make the editor feel uncomfortable or unsafe. JamesBWatson (talk) 15:02, 10 February 2014 (UTC)
- To be fair, I only responded to the talk page after I received this message (so it doesn't really make sense either). I assumed the user thought I was being a bit harsh "respeedying" the page without an explanation, but being accused of harassment is a bit excessive... J Mo 101 (talk) 19:43, 10 February 2014 (UTC)
- Yes, I took the message above as referring to one of your talk page message, but I now see that it evidently refers to your speedy deletion tag on the user page. JamesBWatson (talk) 08:57, 11 February 2014 (UTC)

Paul Charlton
editI think it's worth keeping the FreeBMD reference in the Paul Charlton (rugby league) article, so I've reinstated it. Would you know whether the Metadata in the Persondata fields necessitate multiple links, e.g [[Whitehaven]], [[Cumberland]], England, or would [[Whitehaven]] be sufficient? Brad Murray
editHey mate, would you be able to propose the page Brad Murray for deletion like you did with Josh Ailaomai and Ethan Cook? I keep putting an author deletion request tag on it but it keeps getting denied because there are multiple editors of the page, despite it failing WP:RLN. Great Britain rugby league team players
editHi J Mo 101, I notice that you have removed the 'Great Britain national rugby league team players' category, and infobox fields from the; Harry Archer, Billy Banks, and Jack Bartholomew articles. I believe for example, the corresponding 'New Zealand national rugby league team players' category includes both Test match and non-Test match players. I was wondering whether all players should actually be included, or whether there should be a sub-category named, e.g. 'Great Britain national rugby league team test players'. As an aside, I believe Billy Banks was one of nine players who only played for Great Britain in non-Test matches against France prior to 1957, but that a couple of years ago the Rugby Football League were looking at retrospectively upgrading these matches to Test status, though I'm not sure of the outcome.
