Finding resources

Since you were wondering how I found that book so quickly, I thought I might just drop this here. Happy researching! SilverStar54 (talk) 06:44, 28 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

So I had a look again at Jerry West...

There seem to be some inline citations in the lead.

...and if that's the case, for consistency, there should be inline citations for the latest edit. I'll go ahead and add them, unless you want to add the citation names yourself.⸺RandomStaplers 21:55, 19 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

It's a bit of a mess, isn't it? Citations only begin showing up in the third paragraph of the lead. I suspect it might be better (and easier) to move those citations into the main article body somehow. Sounds like you have a plan though, and I'll be happy to step aside. • I've gone ahead and cited the tertiary sources in the lead. They're not the best sources, but they seem to corroborate most of the lead. You can go ahead and edit again, if you like.⸺RandomStaplers 22:05, 19 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
Works for me, thanks! Maybe when things quiet down on that page, a rewrite will be in order to better integrate all of the recent additions. That could include moving much of the lead's info down into the main article body. Jōkepedia (talk) 22:16, 19 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
But... I guess that doesn't work for everyone. Seems to me most of the current lead could be turned into a Career Highlights section instead, leaving only a true summary. I'll try to wrap my head around that when I have more time. Jōkepedia (talk) 01:03, 20 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
