Whaled
Smash!
You've been squished by a whale!
Don't take this too seriously. Someone just wants to let you know you did something really silly.
You have been Whaled for: Fun.
I mean...leaving huge images is also a reason. InvalidOS (talk) 18:22, 14 May 2019 (UTC)
A barnstar for you!

Relisting at RfD
Thank you for your interest in RfD. I noticed you did a lot of relisting, some of which was unnecessary and contributes to the WP:RELISTBIAS problem. If there are only "delete" !votes, there is no need to relist unless a good reason to do so is given. Per WP:RGUIDE If a good-faith RfD nomination proposes to delete a redirect and has no discussion, the default result is delete.
Also, I'm not sure I see the purpose of relisting Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2019 May 17#Devil Take The Hindmost because everyone is in agreement that it should be disambiguated. Instead of jumping in off the deep end and making these kind of mistakes trying to clerk in an area in which you have no experience, I'd much rather see you participate in these discussions in order to get a better feel for these kinds of things. Please let me know if I may be of any assistance in getting acquainted with RfD. Thanks, -- Tavix (talk) 17:44, 17 May 2019 (UTC)
- Ok. I was relisting because I thought more !votes would be needed to determine consensus. Thanks for telling me about this. Feel free to undo these and close them correctly. InvalidOS (talk) 18:03, 17 May 2019 (UTC)
RfD closures
Please take a little more care with your RfD closures, for example:
- When you closed the discussion about Old Tongue as disambiguate, you removed the RfD template but not the redirect categorisation template and did not activate the disambiguation template.
- Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2019 May 17#Missing or misplaced brackets (from history merge etc.) should not have been relisted as consensus was clearly in favour of deletion. There is no need to rush to close or relist everything.
- Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2019 May 10#Single bed and Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2019 May 10#Single bed were not WP:SNOW closures, they were simply discussions that closed with consensus to keep. Snow is only for discussions that are closed significantly earlier than a usual discussion of that type (e.g. 7 days for RfD). Thryduulf (talk) 17:52, 17 May 2019 (UTC)
- ps. I've just seen I edit conflicted with Tavix leaving a similar message, this is not intended to be a pile on but I'll leave it up as different examples are given. Thryduulf (talk) 17:53, 17 May 2019 (UTC)
- Ok, I'll make sure I close correctly in the future. InvalidOS (talk) 17:57, 17 May 2019 (UTC)
- Also, you listed Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2019 May 10#Single bed twice, neglecting Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2019 May 10#Twin bed. InvalidOS (talk) 18:07, 17 May 2019 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for May 20
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Degree symbol, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Diminished chord (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:59, 20 May 2019 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Wikipedia:WPOSH
A tag has been placed on Wikipedia:WPOSH requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect from an implausible typo or misnomer, or other unlikely search term.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. DannyS712 (talk) 07:36, 21 May 2019 (UTC)

- Yeah, I'd say they meet R3 as an unlikely search term. I should've realized that.

Portal:Mainspace listed at Redirects for discussion
An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Portal:Mainspace. Since you had some involvement with the Portal:Mainspace redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you wish to do so. Thryduulf (talk) 11:54, 24 May 2019 (UTC)
BOTREQ
I'm not sure what you were trying to accomplish when you copied a section at WP:BOTREQ to a new subpage and then transcluded that subpage instead, but I've undone the change and tagged the subpage for speedy deletion under criterion G6. –Deacon Vorbis (carbon • videos) 16:56, 24 May 2019 (UTC)

Signature change suggestion
I suggest changing the "OS" part of your signature so it links here instead of here. The same process should be applied to the "(talk)" part of you username so that it links here. The result should look like this:
⠀— Glosome 💬 03:57, 29 May 2019 (UTC)
- I'm not changing these, as I did these to save space in my signature. Making these changes would make my signature too long. InvalidOS (talk) 15:23, 29 May 2019 (UTC)
- Alright. I believe that no signature is too long, but that is just my opinion. ⠀— Glosome 💬 15:27, 29 May 2019 (UTC)
Response to Mina's page removal of my addition
Hello InvalidOS
I am not sure what you mean by the addition not being 'neutral'. Would you kindly clarify how you define neutral?
Could you also explain why you think deleting an addition, which I would define as a statement of fact, and effectively maintaining the omission, is preferable? I am objectively reporting on another famous singer's version of Mina's songs, not mentioned previously.
May I also inquire as to whether you are actually familiar with this subject?
Thank you — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.210.251.134 (talk) 17:33, 30 May 2019 (UTC)
- I was referring to the phrase “Pop classics.” The phrase is a form of puffery, which is a violation of Wikipedia’s neutral point of view policy. The user of the word “classic” appears to be praise. While not praising Mina herself, it suggests that every song she reinterprets is automatically a good song. I would also like to thank you for asking, as it’s great to see an editor taking interest in editing. If you would like to learn more about editing Wikipedia, the pages Wikipedia:Teahouse and Wikipedia:The Wikipedia Adventure are good places to start. InvalidOS (talk) 18:34, 30 May 2019 (UTC)
Rollback granted
Hi InvalidOS. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have temporarily enabled rollback on your account until 2019-06-17. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
- Use common sense.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! -- Amanda (aka DQ) 02:56, 3 June 2019 (UTC)
