- Please note, we do not WP:OWN pages as individuals. We contribute to them as a collective. - UtherSRG (talk) 22:30, 20 August 2024 (UTC)
- Yes, everyone can use wikipedia pages and the original creatar cant dictate what the page may say or what it may not say. When i say "my" page, what mean is that i was the original creator of the page (ie i made the page, i just cant say how its run). Interested inTaxonomy (talk) 19:41, 21 August 2024 (UTC)
- Don't even think in those ways. It doesn't matter that you created it. Just say "our article" or "the X article". It helps to use such language to detach from ownership. - UtherSRG (talk) 22:50, 21 August 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for helping me understand. Interested inTaxonomy (talk) 22:14, 22 August 2024 (UTC)

editWelcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, discussion pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. This includes removing a whole discussion. - UtherSRG (talk) 22:29, 20 August 2024 (UTC)
- Check page WP:DRC. I can see what you mean as it being disrespectful.
- WP:DRC says: If a user removes a comment from their own talk page it should not be restored. By removing the comment, the user has verified that they have read it. The comment is still in the page history, so it is not necessary to keep it visible just to show that the user received the message.
And yes, i know about the five pillars of wikipedia. Interested inTaxonomy (talk) 19:49, 21 August 2024 (UTC)
- Also, this is just an opinion, I feel like its not very appropiate to make the beggining of you message say "Welcome to wikipedia" when i have 1 year with an account and 200ish edits. I am not against you, im just saying it is a bit weird for lack of a better word. Interested inTaxonomy (talk) 20:05, 21 August 2024 (UTC)
- That is a templated warning. So is the message below. The fact that you don't know that means the welcome is justified. - UtherSRG (talk) 00:24, 27 August 2024 (UTC)
- WP:DRC relates you the user's own talk page. Article talk pages should not have discussions removed at all. When the talk page becomes large, an archiver can be used to archive the discussions and a link to those archives is provided. - UtherSRG (talk) 00:26, 27 August 2024 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. UtherSRG (talk) 00:23, 27 August 2024 (UTC)
