Why can't I edit some particular pages?

Some pages that have been vandalized repeatedly are semi-protected, meaning that editing by new or unregistered users is prohibited through technical measures. If you have an account that is four days old and has made at least 10 edits, then you can bypass semi-protection and edit any semi-protected page. Some pages, such as highly visible templates, are fully-protected, meaning that only administrators can edit them. If this is not the case, you may have been blocked or your IP address caught up in a range block.

How do I create an article?

See how to create your first article, then use the Article Wizard to create one, and add references to the article as explained below.

How do I create citations?

1. Do a search on Google or your preferred search engine for the subject of the Wikipedia article that you want to create a citation for.
2. Find a website that supports the claim you are trying to find a citation for.
3. In a new tab/window, go to the citation generator, click on the 'An arbitrary website' bubble, and fill out as many fields as you can about the website you just found.
4. Click the 'Get reference wiki text' button.
5. Highlight, and then copy (Ctrl+C or Apple+C), the resulting text (it will be something like <ref> {{cite web | .... }}</ref>, copy the whole thing).
6. In the Wikipedia article, after the claim you found a citation for, paste (Ctrl+V or Apple+V) the text you copied.
7. If the article does not have a References or Notes section (or the like), add this to the bottom of the page, but above the External Links section and the categories:

I am not a sockpuppet account. But rather I have reported sockpuppet accounts. And if we see my stats all my edits are live on Wikipedia. I am yet to receive a policy violation notice or a vandalism notice. As far as being sockpuppet is concerned, I copied the items from EditWiki45 's page. That doesn't prove that I am his sockpuppet. I was editing the page Bhima. I checked the page's editing history and found this blocked account. I went on to see his user page and kinda liked that, so I copied it. And as far as editing his user page is concerned I tried to put a "blocked or retired tag" on top of his user page. And to add to this he was repeatedly vandalising articles but I am yet to do so which I will never. Please unblock me or discuss this block after reading my POV. Waiting for a reply. 331dot, What are the other clues? Or, Just this reason of declining my unblock request? Had I chose some other A/c to copy you might have said so for that also. And for a sec, Just bcoz u guys r saying even if I was (which I am not) a sockpuppet, I have not done anything that violates T&C of Wikipedia. So there must be a reason to block this A/c, I should be blocked if I violate T&C, or vandalise any article or add or remove something which is unconstructive. Just bcoz that guy did many wrong's and I copied his Userpage doesn't mean that I am his sockpuppet and that I should be blocked immediately. Decline reason:

"I am yet to receive a policy violation notice or a vandalism notice." There is no requirement whatsoever that you receive any warning of any kind before being blocked for sockpuppetry. All you have to do is repeat the previously blocked user's edits, which ... can you honestly blame us? Copying the items from EditWiki54's page sort of looks that way, don't you think? Saying "that doesn't prove I'm a sockpuppet" is kind of like showing up at a crime scene with a smoking gun in your hand and some bloodspatter on your face and clothes, then saying "That doesn't prove I'm the killer". To which I should add that, per 331dot, I should sooner expect to answer a knock at my door and find a very large group of monkeys who want to show me this screenplay for Hamlet they've just finished than I should expect to learn that the preposterous string of coincidences you have pleaded is actually true.
